General Personality Description:
Hayden is obscure. He's telepathic so, he always knows what's on the minds of others. He's highly intelligent, but hides his intelligence because he's afraid people will make fun of him for it. He can be kind of a jerk if someone doesn't know him. Once they do get to know him though, they realize that he's got a good heart and great intentions. People generally avoid him because of his ability to read minds. Unlike his sister Alice, he has more trouble hiding his strange ability. Telepathy is harder to mask than precognition.

He's got this creative side too. Hayden is a bit awkward when you really think about it. The key components of his personality are so strangely assembled. He's smart, creative, odd, off-beat, brave, and pushed aside. He's a pretty mellow person so, he blends into the background of most of the events at Hogwarts. He's not someone that students usually talk about or anything.

Appearance Description:
Hayden is about 6'0" and weighs around 155 lbs. He's kind of a smaller guy when you really think of it on that level. He's got these brown eyes that match his sandy, golden hair. His skin is rather pale and he looks a tad ghostly.

His clothing is not something that Hayden puts a lot of thought into. Mostly, he's always just let Ace pick out important clothing. He's kind of a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. He wear plain black Converse and gray t-shirts to blend in. He's a really simple type guy. It's all about blending in with Hayden.

History:

The story of Hayden Logan is complicated in that, he was very young when he was brought to the Logans, and he was also very odd. His mother was a full-blooded veela so, he had this strange sparkle to him that made others very attracted to him from a very young age. His father was a pureblooded wizard though and somewhere in the process of his infancy, his biological parents discovered a birth defect leaving their son telepathic. The boy could read minds and that was far from normal, even for a wizard.

Christoph Everrett was not only a wizard, but a scientist. He discovered strange things in the very fiber of the magical theories of the time. That led to his eventual death. Christoph passed away when Hayden was only a year old. It did not take Vanity long to follow. Being a veela was not seen as a good thing. People accused her of horrible things that she did not do. The hardest moment of Vanity Everrett's life was seeking out the Logan family to take her son. A month before her predicted death, Vanity brought Hayden to the Logans and gave him up. She visited twice before she too passed away. Hayden knew neither of his biological parents very well, but unlike his two adoptive sisters, he at least had the chance to hear the story of how he ended up with the Logans.

His transition to the Logan residence was quite easy. He was the first of the three adopted children. When Alice came along, Hayden got along with her much better than with Rosalie. Rose argued with Hayden endlessly and Ace was the only one who could end their little wars. Hayden came to love both of his sisters though. At the end of the day, the Logans are still a family, just like any other.

Hogwarts years brought a strange new perspective to Hayden. He came to love magic and learned that he'd carried down his father's quick-witted intelligence in experimentation. He began inventing his own spells, potions, and other strange concoctions to do various things. Once, it was a spell to shut out sound in only his own ears. It was a deafness charm to be exact. He couldn't stand hearing what people were thinking about him the halls to be honest. His mind was this tangled web of genius ideas. Where those ideas will take him? No one knows.

Any other information:Hayden can read minds due to a birth defect similar to that of Alice Logan, his adoptive sister. They're "special" that way. His biological mother was also a Half-Veela so, he carries down some odd traits.
