ALL RULES ARE TO BE FOLLOWED AND RESPECTED AT ALL TIMES.-Staff
THE RULES: >>No god-moding! It is disrespectful and can get you banned depending on the degree to which you abuse it. >>Nothing over PG-13 rating. No sexual or inappropriate behavior will be accepted at all. There's a possibility that we have some young member here and everyone must accept that. >>Minimal swearing/cursing. I will accept swear words because, let's face, these are teenagers. I don't want the swearing to be abused though so, try to keep it int dialogue only. Occasional descriptive use is accepted, but minimal. >>No one-liners. Posts should be at least one paragraph consisting of at least five sentences. >>ACTIVITY is mandatory. As soon as you fill out your application, you are supposed to get active in threads and plotting. We love active members and if you are one, we love you! >>Staff members are law! We are here for a reason and you need to respect us. >>No killing a character off unless you get the permission of the person and a staff member. >>Pregnancies are allowed, so long as you contact an admin about it. >>No random cross-breeding unless you're a creature or you have permission from a staff member. >>No slash accounts unless you are playing identical twins. This is a rare case so, don't abuse it just to make a load of slash accounts. >>You may have more than one character account as long as you keep them active. As you may have noticed, we use the alias code here so, multiple character are encouraged. >>No "Mary-Sue" characters. No one is perfect, make that clear. >>All characters are required to have a celebrity face-claim. Please use an actual celebrity, I don't want a bunch of people using themselves as their play-by, that's a little weird. >>Do not post in an opposite house's board unless you either have permission or are a Hogwarts staff member and need to for some reason. >>Be active in your house spirit campaigns. Each house has a bulletin board and we have a school-wide bulletin board for students. Post up parties, clubs, meetings, games, etc. That's what they're there for. >>Participate in your job. Adults generally have some sort of job. We need highly active ministry workers, St. Mungo's Healers, and shop owners. Do not hesitate to own a shop. >>Shop owners may only have one shop. You may also work in someone else's shop part-time, but you may only own one shop. >>Students are encouraged to participate and watch quidditch matches. We have a special system set up here and it relies very dependently on site activity. >>Take your punishment if you disobey a rule. If you get banned for god-moding, don't whine about it because it blatantly states not to here. >>Close your threads when finished and try to finish your threads. When and thread is done, please PM a staff member and we will lock it and send it to the posting graveyard. >>Have fun and join in for everything Marauding Mysteries has to offer. We set up a lot of events and fun things that people really should join in.
