10/30; edited his relatives and pets. Relatives because I went stupid on some of the name, and pets because I took that section from a older profile. xD

How You Found Marauding Mysteries: A little forum called Notebook Ink
Role-Play Sample:Kavic frowned, irritated at the sudden down pour of rain. The day had been gray, yes, but there had still been a dash of sunlight now and again. And it had been warm, that was important (and very welcome). Autumn at Hogwarts was beautiful, with the red and golden leaves against the perpetually gray and stormy skies… but it was undeniably chilly, save for the few days were the suns warmth touched the earth.
It had looked like one of the days from his dorm room, so he had grabbed his trusty Frisbee and ran outside to play in the sun for awhile. The lack of other students should have been a warning that the nice weather wouldn’t last (and if he had been paying more attention to the windows, he would have noticed that there had been frequent, hard showers throughout the mornings.), but he didn’t care and spent several long minutes tossing the red, plastic disc into the air and catching it with the ease of long hours spent practicing.
And then… cue the rain.
Kavic scowled at the torrent. He hadn’t run into the school, no… that would have been the sensible thing to do. He had darted underneath a large tree that was near him in the hopes the rain would let up and he would be free to cross over at his leisure. But no, if anything the rain had come down harder.
Flipping his Frisbee straight up in annoyance, he contemplated just forgetting it all and running across the lawn and up the steps to get inside. It would be easy enough, even though he’d get soaked in the attempt, but he had a class soon. He couldn’t dry off his clothes with magic yet (or at least, when he was wearing them. If they were off, he didn’t have a problem, but if they were on… they frequently caught fire which could be alarming.),and it would take a while to get the tower, race to the dorm, change and then get back down to his class.
He sighed, pushing his bangs back; he should have just stayed in his dorm, reading his book. That would have been the simple solution… He flipped the disc even higher, but in mid-flight a bout of wind caught it and it floated out into the middle of the grassy plain between him and the castle. Kavic groaned and swore under his breath before dashing out and picking up the red plastic. The rain was heavy enough that he was soaked within a few seconds.
Even as he picked up the Frisbee, the wind yanked it out of his hands and had it land a few feet away from him. He groaned. “Seriously?”He yelled, chasing after it.Basics;;

(When he was a kid, he read the princess story where the princess kisses the frog and it turns into a prince. As a joke, he walked around the village, asking the girls to kiss him “because I could be your prince!” Ever since then, his sister has called him Frog, and once she started at Hogwarts, the name caught on and too Kavic’s dismay it stuck.)

He hasn't thought much of what he would like to do in the 'real world' but something about being a healer or auror appeals to him.
General Personality Description:
To someone who didn't know Kavic well, the kindest word they would probably use is 'passionate, maybe a little dramatic.' Others, annoyed by his flamboyant, loud nature would probably be more apt to say 'Stupid, freaking Shakespeare wanna-be, drama king.' Kavic is certainly not a quiet boy... he likes being in the spotlight, whether it’s reciting his own (badly) written poetry or a monologue from a dusty book that he found buried in his trunk. It can get annoying; even he admits it when he crosses the line. (Even though that that doesn't mean he will stop.) Kavic likes to have his fun, even at the expense of his own pride.
That isn't to say he's completely easy going. Although it is certainly true that Kavic is more laid back then hot headed, he does have quite the temper when provoked. These occasions are far and few but the explosions are stuff of legend, full of big bangs and dialog not suited for young children. He does try to avoid those sorts of conflicts at all costs however. He is very protective of his close friends and (even though it would pain him to admit it) his sister, to the point of being almost over bearing.
He's very playful, and likes goofing around. He doesn't play sports competitively, but he has been known to bring an American football (He found out some old men in his town hated American football, so what did he do? He bought one and spent the day throwing it around with the men's grandsons, since then he has liked it.) or a Frisbee to school to throw around on a sunny day. He also likes pranking people and joking around with his friends. He doesn't do well in classes where he 'just sits and watches,' and so he struggled in classes like History of Magic and Divination (He thought it would be glamorous. It wasn't.), while he did very well in Care for Magical Creatures and Potions.
One thing that can be said about him-- he is most definitely a teenage boy. He flirts a lot, even if he's never meet the girl before, and falls in and out of 'love' easily. But whatever relationship he finds himself in, he is genuinely affectionate, however clumsily. Even after the eventual end, he generally stays on good terms with his ex's.
Due to an incident when he was a kid, he flat out refuses to enter dark, cramped spaces… especially if there’s potential for him to get trapped inside. (He and his sister were playing hide and go seek, and he climbed into a closet to hide. However, he didn’t know that the door was locked, and that you could only unlock it from the outside. His sister didn’t hear him banging and yelling for her so Kavic was left inside for at least two hours before his parents figured out what happened.) He hates being alone, even when he needs his ‘own space’ he will sit in a crowded room, just to hear other voices, or actively seek out other people when he takes walks around the campus. It is his firm belief that Hell is a manifestation of the person’s individual fears and that they are trapped eternally in it. He is doubly sure that his hell would be a barren room, no one else but him, with a window into regular life that he would see, but never hear or feel anyone else again. (It’s also his boggart.) It could be for the reason he still holds to his Christian faith, however loosely. (His father is resigned to the fact, he may be praying out fear, but at least the boy is praying…)Appearance;;
Celebrity: William Mosely
Picture:
Appearance Description: Kavic is of average height for a teenage boy (5'11 and a half... the half is very important apparently.) and light colored skin. In the summer months, it usually darkens to a tan with the amount of time he spends outside. Not being the type of boy to be fussy about his hair, it usually hangs in his grey eyes or raked back by his fingers (his definition of combing his hair). It is a light brown color, of a medium length that nearly touches his collar.
His clothes reflect his no-nonsense upbringing if not his personality. When not wearing the black robes and cloaks of Hogwarts, he likes comfortable jeans and sweaters in his favorite russet red. His clothes aren't the highest priced items, but they suit him very well. Even though it is mostly hidden underneath his shirt, he always wears a slim gold chain with a cross on it. It was a gift from his mother on the day he left for Hogwarts, and among his most cherished objects.History;;

Mother: Kellene ‘Kelly’ Grace Elliot, House-wife, age 54
Siblings: Koran Marie Elliot, student at Hogwarts,age 15
Pets: Several cats have adopted themselves into the family... they begged for milk and food, so the softhearted Elliot's fed them. The families favorite though, by general consensus, is a small calico named 'Queenie' for her imperious attitude. They also have a older black lab who is named Major.
The family also has three horses, a bay shire gelding named Destrier who was given to the father but was soon adopted by the whole family, a skewbald gypsy vanner mare named Sam, and a blue roan connemara pony named Strider who belongs to his sister, Koran.
Relatives:
Mothers side;
One sister (Moria) who is married to a man named Christian. They have three daughters, Cassie, Emma, and Kayla, ages 9, 12, and 15.
Fathers side;
Two brothers and one sister. One of his brothers, Robert, is married to a woman named Allison. They have a 19 year old son named Hugh.
His sister, Lisa, is divorced with a 17 year old daughter (Blythe) and a 21 year old son (John).
His other brother Eric is almost permanently engaged to a woman named Olivia. Eric has a daughter named Kalasin from a previous marriage to a woman named Karen. Kalasin (or, Kally) has recently been admitted to Hogwarts... much to her older cousins surprise.
Birthplace:London, England
History:
For the longest time, Kavic's whole world consisted of the small village he grew up in. He knew that there was more, much more of course, but his only view into it were the books he devoured as a boy. (He was always the hero in these of course.) His parents were the caretakers of a quaint, country church that supplied God's word to three small towns (theirs included), his father being the pastor and his mother almost everything else. He and his younger sister, Koran, were used to it and they even enjoyed the order in their lives; church, school, home. The Holy Trinity to a quiet life.
But even though he was content in it, and he did well in church activities and school... he always felt some element was missing. Like there was some mad quest to adventure just barely around the corner, but he always turned away before he could touch it. It was this restlessness that caused him to walk along the countryside in never ending circles, sometimes with his sister or friends, but mostly alone. In his mind, he could see himself in some far away fantasy realm, saving the world from a faceless evil. But dreams are dreams, and he knew this, no matter the discomfort it caused. But it all changed one day in October, the day he turned eleven in fact, when a tall, imposing woman came to knock on his door to propose attendance at a school called 'Hogwarts'.
The family listened in an awe-struck daze as the woman explained their oldest son had been gifted with magic, and his name had been written down for years to attend the school. She explained the lessons, rules, Diagon Alley and how to get there, and the Hogswart Express. It seemed like she talked for hours, patiently answering the somewhat astounded parent's questions and giving the gleeful children a small demonstration by turning their toaster into a parrot (it flew away before they could close the windows though, and so the witch replaced with a quick wave of her wand. 'It's even better then the old one,' the wife would whisper to her husband after an inspection.) It was dark before the tall woman would leave, but not before giving Kavic a letter containing a list of materials, and his ticket to board the train.
Kavic of course was ready to go right then, but his parents didn't hold with his gung-ho nature, or the idea of their oldest son learning 'magic'. It obliterated the rules and world that they knew, for the longest time his parents would say it was a mere dream (when they would say this, Kavic would shove the letter under their noses as corporal proof) and many arguments shook the Elliot household. Even the the townsfolk began to notice a tense air between the pastor, his wife, and their son, as his sermons became more and more focused 'honoring thy mother and father' and the evil of 'walking on the devils path of witchcraft'.
But what finally convinced his parents happened in late July after another argument that lasted far into the night. As an exhausted Kavic fought his case for what felt like the hundredth time, a sugar bowl flew up into the air before soaring at a breakneck speed into the door frame. Staring in mingled shock and horror, the family found their positions switched at least for a moment. Now, his father and mother were all for him learning to control his new found 'talent' while Kavic found himself shaken at his loss of control, and that sudden insight that he could have easily hurt his parents or his sister who was listening at the door.
Eventually though, he found himself coaxed into the car for a trip to London to find a dingy pub called the Leaky Cauldron (which his parents drove past three times before he convinced them to stop), and then walking through the said dingy pub (he had to lead his parents by the hand to get them in... all they saw was a record store and hamburger shop), and then tap the bricks to get to a wondrous place called Diagon Alley. Kavic couldn't be sure whether it was the gobstones or the exploding snap deck that finalized his resolve to enter the wizarding world (his sister Koran would firmly say it was the ice cream shop and its exotic flavors that turned his head though), but he found himself eager to enter Hogwarts.
Now, a sixth year student, Kavic is comfortable in his role as a student wizard. His parents have accepted his 'talents' as they call them in public, and now their daughter's as well, for she received a letter two years after her brother. It may not be the most comfortable subject around the dinner table (something always seems to get knocked over or dropped) but their parents have moderately accepted their children's gifts, even if they can't understand. Their father doesn't speak of magic as the devil's work anymore at least. But even six years at Hogwarts hasn't completely erased his upbringing... he always sets some time aside for prayer on Sundays, and blesses his food before every meal, although it could be more for show sometimes.Other;;
