&& you'll never fully understand the things i see...
Running. She was running. Her mess of dark hair hung down her back in a frizzy knot. Her eyes streamed tears. Her skin seemed even paler than usual. Her expression wore terror, terror and sight. Her eyes were so wide, so hurt, so honestly terrified. What was happening behind her golden eyes was not what she saw that dark night. No, Alice Logan saw much worse than that night could have ever imagined.
Her converse clad feet had brought her to the edge of the forest first, running without sight, yet knowing where to go. She had taken such a sharp turn that she'd knocked down a pair of lovers making out near the lake. They had eyed her with both curiosity and anger, and then worry after realizing who it was. Her rapid dance of movement was never reckless, never that way. Everyone who knew Alice knew that was not like her.
Her jeans were muddy from falling. Alice never fell. Her short was ripped on the bottom corner from a bush tugging at her wrong. There was something truly wrong with Alice. There had to be for her to rush off in such a fit. Her vision was taking over her body. Here's how it happened.
She had been sitting in her dorm late, listening to the last of the night's rain and her house mates' snores. She had been doodling on a piece of paper when the vision had begun to set in. At first, her pace was normal, casual almost. That is, until she came to the grounds and began running. Alice couldn't get hurt, she was practically made of stone. The vision was frightening though.
A sea of fire and light, crashing, colliding. It had to be a battleground. The faces of those around her, running, falling, failing. "It's the night, the night he rises!" Calls screamed out around her. Faces seemed almost as pale as hers in fear. The mood was set in the air and there was no escaping it now. Alice moved until she came to the great gates of Hogwarts. She pounded her fists on them, trying desperately to escape the battle.
Alice moved until she came to the great gates of Hogwarts. She pounded her fists on them, trying desperately to escape the battle. She fell to her knees, no longer capable of finding the will to pound on them. She felt drained, human. It was too abnormal. What was happening to her?

• •`i just want to sing this night away !!
another sleepless night. wow, surprise, surprise. harmony thought bitterly to herself as she laced her black converse up groggily. she was tired, disoriented, but figured if sleep wouldn't come she might as well do something productive. maybe it relieved her that she would not be tortured by these endless nightmares or awoken screaming again. a few weeks ago harmony had awoken screaming bloody murdur.
this guitar case was heavy, or maybe it wasn't heavy; but difficult for one to carry when she was about to pass out from physical exhaustion. she made her way slowly towards....well nowhere in particular. just towards somewhere. letting her feet carry her, harmony let her mind wander; night-time was great to think things out in.
she thought of her first few months here at hogwarts this year. she'd met many people, read many books, had many nightmares, and maybe eaten too much food. but hey, it's an alternative to eating too little. harmony thought of her mother; whom she missed terribly this year. this is the time when boy advice was needed terribly. silly harmony was not used to the way the opposite gender thought; sometimes mortifying herself as not all plans went as expected.
then, rather randomly, she was almost knocked over by...something. a flurry of a human with black hair pelted past her clumsily it seemed. harmony looked on with confusion, until it was gone, which had only taken a few seconds. harmony headed onward, finding herself to be at the front gate. she sat down on the cold, dirty brick and pulled out that old beauitful; to her; guitar delicately and began strumming it.
a noise shattered the moment, fists pouding on the wall. harmony stopped quickly, looking up to see alice logan..she thought that was her anyway. it was hard, should she pretend not to notice or say hello and ask what was bother her?
harmony; naturally; decided on the second notion; and stood up slowly. "alice...what are you doing here?" she said, leaning against the wall to support her weary limbs. alice and her 'group' had always seemed so different...just odd. not like, dispicable or anything, they actually quite intrigued harmony. she returned her attention strictly to alice, awaiting an answer.

Alice was still in her fit of a vision, incapable of seeing the redhead before her. Had she known anyone was watching, Alice would have been more subtle in her strange fit of a vision. This wasn't like the others she'd normally had though. She was physically taken by this vision. She had some strange presence in the back of her mind, yet another being had taken up home within her as well. It was a creature of the future. Something new and strange. It had to be human. Alice could never have human feelings unless it was human. Who was it? What was it? Why was she seeing it?
All she could do was shy away from the invisible flames surrounding her. She could merely open her eyes wide enough to stare into the harsh and demanding physical abuse taunting at her. And then, as suddenly as it had come on, it disappeared. The vision, the humanity, the feelings, the tears, the burn of the fire. Each key factor vanished.
In fact, Alice too was restored to how she had been before it had all come on. Faster than the human mind could process, she was on her feet and dusting herself off. Her eyes darted automatically to Harmony. "I'm sorry, did you say something?" She asked, a tone of such etiquette implying harmony should forget anything she'd just seen. Alice's charm was quick to turn on people. She could literally sparkle if she chose. Her energy boosted those around her and she let just that effect emanate about her.

Harmony watched Alice with a puzzled look on her face, wondering what was running through her mind. It defidintly was not something that a human would experience, because is seemed to extravagant. Not in a good way, just that it was very interesting to see her reaction to whatever was happening. Alice was usually the calm, collected one and now look what was happening to her! Mo scraped her left food against the ground, the rubber bottoms of the converse making an odd noise.
It was odd, because all of a sudden Alice seemed okay. Her tears had slowly dried up and it seemed she was much calmer than before. Harmony wondered if she had those often with a slight tilt of the head, because she herself, in fact, had nightmares almost every night. It wasn't a good experience, but it intrigued her every time. Perhaps that was what Alice was experiencing.
"Are you alright? Harmony whispered quietly, it was so quiet she felt she shouldn't shatter the silence. She blinked and Alice was on her feet, faster than Harmony had ever seen before. She rubbed her eyes wearily with the back of her navy blue gloved hands (fingerless gloves that is). As Alice spoke, she picked up on the fact she should pretend that she never saw anything and decided to do just that. Harmony didn't want to seem rude or whatnot. "No...I was just seeing what you were doing here? It's pretty cold tonight, isn't it?" She said finally, suddenly feeling like energy poured into her. The very vibe seemed to jump up a few levels and Mo silently wondered what was up.
