Lily Evans
OOC;; Alias: Tippy Age: 18 Years of RPing: 5-6 How You Found Marauding Mysteries: I created it. Role-Play Sample:
&& who doesn't love the stranger by the water...
So, there she stood. Her figure looked exceptionally small in the moonlight. Her feet were bare, her clothing clung to her as a distant chill overwhelmed the Hogwarts grounds. Obscure sounds stirred in the Forbidden Forest. Her long-sleeved green shirt only reminded her of the person she'd possibly hurt the most in her life and her pinstriped shorts brought back memories of other nights when she'd felt as though she might freeze over. Was she freezing over?
Lily ran a hand through her loose red locks and ignored the stray wisps as they tossed about in that slightly unsettling wind. There was so much for her to think about. She'd only been back for about a week and she already felt horrible. It was as though her fifth year had blended right into her sixth and now she crashing into an even more chaotic future. Lily could not seem to get either boy out of her mind. Two boys, two vastly different young men, and they'd stolen her heart and turned into something she thought she might never understand.
How was she supposed to live with the words she'd said to him? How was she supposed to live with that last argument? How could she ever look Severus Snape in the eyes again without feeling as though she'd lost everything? Was he the one meant for her? Or was it the boy who made her feel so alive? Sometimes, it seemed as though James Potter could transform Lily into this angel. It was like she'd never lived before until she was there in his arms. It seemed as though, while she was making him into a better person, he was making her into a brilliant person. Lily felt as though she could do anything when she was with James. It was as though she had the power to be whatever she wanted. Was it selfish to be so happy with herself when she was with James? It seemed like he completed her in a way.
That could only be killing Severus though. Not a day went by when Lily didn't think of him. She felt a sense of horrid dread if she'd be kissing James goodbye in the hall and Severus would walk by to go to class. It seemed harsh, like she was rubbing the fact that she'd chosen James over him. Was that it then? Lily couldn't understand any of it. She'd never dated Sev. She'd never thought she'd had those feelings for him. But had she? Just once, she wished she could kiss him and see if Severus made her feel the way James made her feel. That would be traumatic for Severus though and Lily wished to let him be and never harm him again.
She leaned towards the water's edge and ran a graceful hand over the glassy surface. Silent ripples of water sent out a shiver through the lake. She sat down in the muddy sand, ignoring the fact that her clothing would be filthy on the secret walk back up to the castle. She wasn't even allowed to be out at that hour. She was supposed to be wrapped up tight in her bed in the Gryffindor dormitory, fast asleep. Either that or, awake telling stories with Alice and Serenity. No, she was out by the lake past midnight, dreading the idea of having to deal with both James and Severus at once.
Things just felt so much easier with James. There was that natural connection. Their hands fit together like they were molded from the same clay. Their hearts beat to the same drum. If there were any other silly cliches, Lily would apply them here. With Severus, it was all too vastly complicated for her to cope with on a daily basis. When they were younger, it was all about friendship. The Hogwarts came and they had to deal with the house diversity. They'd learned to make everything work. Lily and Sev remained friends through the chaos of two different worlds of Gryffindor and Slytherin. Things began to get a bit harder when Lily had that light sort of inkling towards James Potter. James being Sev's enemy didn't exactly make matters any easier. It was when Severus began that ridiculous alliance to the Death Eaters. That was what had ended everything! It broke her heart! She wasn't just losing her best friend, she was losing the person she loved most. She never did have the courage to tell Severus how much she cared about him. Now she would never have the chance.
Lily stood up to gaze out at the water once more. She brushed the muck off her shorts and then ran a dirty hand through her hair once more. She was stressed. The only time lily took to habitually running her hand through her hair was when she was becoming overly stressed out. She reached into her pocket and took out a tiny picture. It was slightly crumpled from being carried around too often and the edges seemed frayed. Two smiling faces gleamed up at her. It was her and James. The two happy people sat beneath a tree in a courtyard on the Hogwarts grounds. It was taken during the spring of their fifth year. It was just before her fight with Sev and even though he wasn't in the picture, Lily still thought of him every time she looked at it.
She shoved the photo back into her pocket. It was time to let go. She couldn't keep dwelling on the things that would only hurt her more. She stepped into the icy water and let it heal her in a sense. Lily was going to try as hard as she could to move on. It was time to move on.

Appearance;; Celebrity:Lindsay Lohan Picture:
Appearance Description: Lily is about 5'5" with green eyes and red hair. She has pale skin and features that are hard to forget. Her thin body makes her look frail and delicate. This is amusing because people know that Lily is not this frail little thing she's painted out to be. Her clothing style includes jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, scarves, vests, dresses, skirts, Converse tennis shoes, boots, and little flats. She loves to sport her Gryffindor Pride and wears her red and gold scarf rather often. She even has a red sweater with a Gryffindor crest on it. It's just who she is.
Lily has never been a big fan of makeup, but she will wear casual eye-shadow, eye-liner, and lip gloss. She keeps things very natural and real. The only time she goes outside of that limit is where she's dressing up. In which case, she's not afraid of red lips and wide eyed beauty. She Lily and no one can really judge her by what she's got on.
History;; Family: George Evans-Father-Lawyer Marjory Evans-Mother-House-Wife Petunia Evans-Sister-Muggle Pets: Mellie-A white cat with blue eyes. Relatives: -unknown- Birthplace: Near Spinners End, Northern England History: && she dances beneath the moonlight of two worlds...
Born in a quiet part of Norther England, Lily Evans greeted the midnight stars on January 30 of 1960. Her peaceful nature permitted that she not cry about an event so interesting as her birth. No, Lily came out a smiling little thing with signs of red hair on the way. Her life began in that moment and she would be sure no one would forget it. Why such a brilliant birth? Flowers bloomed under the midnight moon for heaven's sake! Lily Evans knows how to make an entrance.
Her youth was something memorable as well. All through muggle schooling, Lily got top marks and kept up much faster than her fellow classmates. Her sister Petunia was her dearest friend in the world and the two girls would often play with the strange little boy down the street. Their friendship with Severus Snape was a timid sort of thing. Petunia was set on avoiding him whilst Lily found him to be intriguing and could relate to him about thing Petunia never would. Sev and Lily quickly became friends. Oddly enough, their friendship became very useful as well. When lily began exhibiting strange behaviors, Sev explained that she was a witch. Lily was shocked, but also happy about such news. It made their friendship grow. Yet, it made Lily's friendship with her sister shrink.
When Lily neared the September after her eleventh birthday, she learned of Hogwarts. The idea of a school of magic left her captivated. Lily's parents seemed delighted at such an idea and let her go. She became a fast bookworm and took to magic like she'd known it her whole life. When she was sorted into Gryffindor, she was thrilled. Something less thrilling to add to this was the fact that her best friend was sorted into Slytherin.
Lily and Severus stayed friends for a very long time. Lily never approved of the things Sev did and when they came to their fifth year, she began to drift far from her friend due to his new-found affiliation with You-Know-Who. Lily's heart broke a little bit because of the events that took place. A fight with her best friend ensued and accusations flew. Lily knew that her friendship with Severus Snape was damaged forever. Part of her felt a tremendous amount of guilt about it all because part of Lily truly loved Severus.
By the end of fifth year, Lily have taken to new friends. A lot of her confidences were kept in Remus Lupin. Remus became one of Lily's newest friends and she felt that sort of warm casualty towards him. Remus told Lily of his "furry little secret" and Lily told Remus about Severus. Remus also told Lily about James Potter's long-time infatuation with her. Lily took to James not long after. It was mostly due to her relationship with Remus that she gave him a chance. It turned out to be one of the best choices of her life.
Other friendships that Lily made by the end of her fifth year included the colorful Alice Logan, the interesting Serenity Faywood, and the surprising Andromeda Black. Lily's life has turned into something beautiful very fast. Her summer was spent going back and forth between her friends houses and arguing with her sister Petunia over things because they could no longer get along. So, a new year begins. This time, a war is taking place and Lily is forced to admit that she would die before joining the Death Eaters. Her alliance to The Order has been openly pledged and she stands tall and proud. What marauding mysteries might come her way now?
