“Dark chocolate, okay noted.”
Kavic pretended to write on an invisible pad in the air. “Anything else to add to that? Flowers? …a drink to get the lady tipsy? That last one was a joke.” He added on. Really. Truly. Kavic was slightly honorable, he wouldn’t get dark chocolate and then add firewhiskey or some other hard drink to the mix just to loose a lady up and get in her pants right? Naw. Kavic laughed. “Again, I have a little sister. She delights in telling me that every chance she gets.” And it was true, Koran did point that out when she could. But Kavic didn’t mind… he just always pointed back that Koran acted twice her age, so it was even. (He usually got a stuck out tongue for that remark, an ever-graceful-way of showing ones maturity. Yeah. Right.) “I don’t doubt that.” Kavic said mildly. Oh the stories he, a Gryffindor, had heard about her in the hallways over the years. But know he actually knew her (well, knew her when he was sober and not at a party), he was pretty sure that some of the stories at least were false or over-exaggerations. Pretty sure. He laughed when she pointed to her belly. “I can see that…” and then upon her declaration that she could make a bad idea into a good one, he raised a brow. “Oh really?” He seemed to actually be thinking as she fell into step beside him again. “Hmm… Well, I’d say pregnancy would be an obvious choice…” he nodded to her belly and then laughed when an idea came to him. “Dating Severus Snape?” [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kyndrie laughed, "Oh well, little did you know, that Sev is quite a charmer." Kyndrick winked. "Don't put it past me dearest, I've laid a lot of kisses on these fair boys and Sev may or may not have had a little go." She offered in a mockingly cryptic fashion. She played up the mystery of it all kidding. She wouldn't leave his opening remarks be though. "And if you get a lady tipsy and give her chocolates, she'll be your love slave dearest." She laughed.
"Hm, let's see. I've decided I can make anything seem well enough. My situation in particular. I mean, look at the bright side, this kid's going to be absolutely gorgeous. I know you don't see Remus that way, unless of course you're gay in which case, by all means, enlighten me. But he's rather good looking. He's got that rough around the edges sort of look to him. Plus, I'm fairly well off myself so, this kid will look like a dangerous angel walking these halls someday. It'll be smart and popular and cooler than anyone would guess." Kyndrick bragged of a child that hasn't even been born yet.
"From that view, it's not so hard to accept. Plus, now I'll have a little darling of my own." She winked. "Do you think you'll want kids someday? I mean, obviously not now, not everyone makes my mistakes. But someday?" She asked with a smile.
[[sorry it's short, dinner time. go ahead and post, my next will be longer, lol]]

"Don't be so hard on Sev. It was only once and I've done things with worse." Kyn admitted with a side-ways laugh. She knew she shouldn't admit to things like that but she wasn't the type to sit around in denial and pretend she hadn't done a load of stupid things. She accepted her mistakes as much as the things she'd done right in life.
Now she heard out what he had to say of appearances. "What is it with boys and discussions of appearance in regards to the same sex? I mean, look at me Kav? If I see a girl who looks beautiful, I'll say it. If I see a girl who looks sexy, I'm going to say something about it. I've done far too many things with far too many guys to say I'm bisexual or anything, but I'm not afraid to say how something is. I'm also not afraid to kiss a girl on the cheek or whatever, drunk or not. I mean, people have far too many lines to draw in regards to gender. As far as I'm concerned, unless you're having sex with the same gender, you're not gay, not really anyway. Sex defines all our official relationships at the end of the day. It's that amount of intimacy that regards who you'll be claiming your orientation towards." She ranted a bit. She wasn't mad necessarily, but she definitely wanted to make a point. "Moral of the story Sir Kavic, it's alright to say a guy's good looking. I won't say you're gay and even if you were, there's no shame in it." She laughed.
"Plus, I know you're not gay. I've seen the look on your face as my lips touched yours, remember? Or were you too drunk? Plus, I've seen the eyes you make towards my dear Lily. If that's not marking you straight as a pin, I don't know what is." She teased a little and danced ahead so she'd be walking backwards through the halls.
"Babies scare you?" She asked, surprised by this turn. "Wow. I don't think I've ever been frightened by a baby itself. I mean, I understand what you mean. The first time I thought of being pregnant, I realized how tiny and fragile it would be. I get into a lot of trouble. I mean, I won't be able to get drunk and run around like an idiot anymore. That really is a shame too because let's face it, this school loves a drunk Kyndrick Laurent." Kyndrie laughed. "I'll rid you such a fear Kavic Love. When my baby is born, you'll hold it and help baby-sit. You can see it and learn that babies aren't so bad." She giggled and fell back into step with him.

He gave a short bow to her. "If he has your seal of approval, he has mine."
he said jokingly. "And I will watch my tongue about him when I am with you or anyone elses company." Kavic shrugged. "It's just... different for blokes I guess." He said, trying to figure out how to explain it. "Its not something we talk about. Well," he corrected himself. "I guess sometimes, but nowhere near as much as girls talk about their appearances to each other." He winked at Kyndrick. "I guess we are the less vain of the sexes?" Although that wasn't particularly true. Who was the one who stood in front of a mirror for about an hour before he went to the Yule Ball as his sister nearly fell off the chair in laughter. Yeah, exactly. But he shrugged. "But again, duly noted, if you ask me an opinion on a blokes appearance, I will try to give my honest opinion." "Oh well that's good, someone knows. I was beginning to wonder if anyone had figured it out," He teased, before blushing a little at her pointing out his apperently ill hidden crush on Lily (thank god it was dark) and running his hand through his hair. "Yeah, well..." Aw. So cute. He's embarrassed. He laughed, "I've held them before... I held two of my cousins after they were born, as well as some of the babies of people who go to my fathers church. I just don't go out of my way too. That would be Koran and my mother." He gave a mock shudder at Kyndricks offer (well, not really an offer) of him babysitting. "I can try... I can do a little, I mean, I was old enough to help a little with Koran when I was a kid, as well as some of my cousins... and that's not even mentioning the kids in my village." He laughed. "Its not big, but I swear, half the population are either in diapers or about to have a baby to put in diapers. Maybe its the country air?" he wondered idly. "All the city people flock to it?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kyn couldn't help herself now. "Perhaps we are vain, but that makes it all the better to figure things out in life." She teased. "At least this way I know how to read people. It helps me see what's coming. That way, I can dodge the bad things and save myself trouble." It was true. Kyndrick saw her ways of reading people as a means of social survival. It had helped her out on many an occasion.
"Oh my, Kavic Elliot, are you blushing! Oh, you really do have a thing for Lily, don't you? Sorry Kav, it's just a little obvious. And please, don't feel bad because honestly, half the guys in this school like the girl. She's too sweet for her own good." She teased him. It was one thing for guys to like Kyndrick, she was pleasing to the eye. People thought about her on such a purely physical level. With Lily, Kyndrick had always known that boys liked her for her personality as well. Kyndrie had secretly envied that of her red-headed friend. She wished more guys liked her for her personality too.
"Well, in that case, you sound like you have more experience with kids than I do. Any advice for me?" Kyndrick laughed. "By all means, enlighten me fair Kavic." She dramatically gestured her arms around her as if Kavic were supposed to send some god-given knowledge her way. It was silly, but hadn't most of this conversation taken just that route?

"True that,"
he agreed, taking his school bag from his shoulder and moving it to the other one. "I guess it does come in handy." He laughed shortly. "Believe me I know." he said, "I share a dorm with some of them remember? I have heard many descriptions of her various attributes from several sources." Not to mention he'd contributed from time to time when the fancy struck him. But who wouldn't? As Kyndrick had said, half the male population liked the red-headed prefect. But they were friends. Friends don't like go out without friends. That just opened up awkwardness of all levels. Better just to like her from a distance and be just another Gryffindor rather then introduce the whole 'oh-boy,that-dude-likes-me-but-I-don't-like-him' awkwardness. He counted off on his fingers. "Change 'em when their wet, feed 'em when they cry, and for godsake don't drop 'em on their head." He shrugged. "Thats about it sadly... again, it's more my mother and my sister who go ga-ga over babies." He gave a short laugh. It was true that both of them liked children, Koran to the point were she joked that he needed to 'get on it' so that she could have a niece or nephew to spoil. (His mother disagreed with her daughter, thank god.) [/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Aw, the lovely Lily Evans. It's quite sad we're not as close anymore. See, poor girl thought I'd spread a rumor about her or some such. Accusations went wild. Long story short, I'd not talk about the dear behind her back but she thinks I did. We don't speak often anymore except for the occasional hello in a hallway." Kyn remarked. She really hated the affairs of the average teenager. They all talked more than was healthy in her opinion.
"Oh, you know all the important tid-bits about my future little Lupin." Kyndrie laughed. It brought back a glimpse of that night. It had been such a long night. Kyndrie wondered if she'd ever recover from such a very long night. "No worries, I've had pets, I know how to feed them and clean up after them. I'm not fond of changing diapers, but it's not exactly hard now, is it?" She laughed. She wondered if Kavic had had too much of this conversation yet. They were nearing the kitchens anyway, so what did it matter?
"I think I'll hold off on telling Koran about me being pregnant until after I have a chance to become friends with her if that's all well. I'd hate for people to have their first impression be that I'm a pregnant whore. I'll remain just your average whore for now." Her tone was slightly bitter. She really did think that teens talked too much.

"You know, I think I remember hearing 'bout that."
He remarked, thinking back. He mostly remembered Lily being pissed off about... something. He had never really heard all the dirty details, and for her sake, he had refrained from trying to learn them. Not his problem anyways... as long as he wasn't swimming in the rumor mill, he was okay. But since that dance... He groaned aloud. That had started up whispers. Buggers. It was a party. People danced at parties right? It was just his luck (no, really, it was lucky) that he pulled her over before a slow song. "I'm sorry it caused a rift though." He laughed. "Its not, really. Just put perfume under your nose, its what my mom does." He may not be good with babies, but he at least knew a little about them. Just enough to be sure he didn't want them. Well, he didn't want them now at least. Later. Way, way, way later. Seeing that they had reached the end of the passage or at least, near the end, Kavic jogged up the steps to get the door for Kyndrick. "Oh don't worry," he said. "I won't tell her if you don't want me too." Inwardly he winced. She had secrets from him, he knew she did, and he definitely kept things from her. That wasn't the problem. The problem was that she knew when he was lying. And when she was curious about something... But hopefully it wouldn't come to that. Hopefully. He smiled gently at her as he opened the door. "Your not a whore Kyn," he said gently, refraining from joking 'you never asked for payment.' [/blockquote][/blockquote]
