Okay, I got this idea from what Sev posted on Lucius's relationship thread. What if Lucius found out? What if he found out about Severus and Lily the night of the ball? But he won't go at this at the angel Bellatrix Black does. No, Lucius has class. Instead of spreading petty rumors, Lucius blackmails them.
He hates Severus quite a lot and the two bicker like crazy. To get Sev out of his hair, he'll threaten to tell everyone about Sev and Lily. The twist will be, Lily has no idea Lucius knows. So, Lucius will mess with Severus too. He'll run up and put his arm around Lily's shoulder while she's walking to taunt Severus. It'll be like this horrible mess of a game.
And later, when Serenity learns the secret and gets Lily to back out of the relationship, Lucius will no longer have anything to hold over Severus's head and they cna have a fight or something. I think that would be highly amusing, but that might just be me. It'll show a different side to the two of them though.
Just think it over, it doesn't have to happen unless you guys want it to. By the way, James has no idea this is going on so, Lucius would have to be mockingly subtle. |
