So I talked about this a little in the c-box, but I thought it needed to be told in its full glory.
Okay so I was at school, waiting for the bus... and this guy randomly comes up to me and is like "Hey." And i'm like "....o__o; Hi?"
"So... what are you here for?"
"Um. Class?"
"What are you in?"
"French... writing... math." -as I'm fiddling with my ipod, plugging in head phiones-
"So... transfer?"
"Yeah."
"Where?"
"OSU?"
"For what?"
"...Animal sciences."
"Ah, cool whatta you going to do with that?"
"Um. Hopefully be a trainer at a marine park."
"Oh cool. So do you buy into that darwin thing of evolution? Like, do you think that we're made from monkeys?"
"..Yeah?" as I'm thinking, oh dear, this is going to be a religous thing huh?
And so the guy goes, so which came first chicken or the egg type situations like which came first digestive systems or the need for them, blah blah blah
and I'm like "...Im not much of a science person, I just think it makes more sense." and so he's like, "Well, you know... those building didn't just evolve. They were built by builders right?"
"..Yeah?"
"And a painting didn't just appear, it had a painter!"
"Yeah?"
"So it makes me think of some great creator is behind life!"
...oh boy here we go.
And then I was like, "Um. I'm a christian and a pastors kid, so... I kinda get it."
"Oh, so do you think your going to heaven or hell?"
"Uh heaven."
"Why?"
"Cause I try to be a good person, try to help others, and pray for forgiveness..."
"How do you know thats good enough?"
"..."
"Like, i mean.. let me ask you some questions. Have you lied?"
"Well, yeah."
"Have you stolen anything?"
"No."
"Are you sure? I have a two year old daughter and she brings home all kinds of things."
"Well, okay, maybe when I was a kid, but not since I knew better."
"Would you say that to a judge? 'Oh I haven't stolen anything in ten years!'"
"...well, yeah, not since I knew better."
AND then he's like, "Have you ever committed adultry? And that can be even lustful feelings in your heart." And he is STARING AT MY CHEST
And I'm like "....yes? Every one does?"
And he's like "Well, so if you stood in fornt of judge do you think he should forigve you?"
"Well, if its god, then yeah."
"But why should he forgive? You've already said you've broken several commandments?"
the guy had his kid with him and I was like, "Well, okay, if your daughter did something stupid... would you forgive her?"
"...that's not the question."
"Um. Yeah it is. Would you forgive your kid if she did something dumb?"
And then the bus pulled up and I got on AND HE FOLLOWED ME!! he's like 'we're having sucha great discussion I can't just let you go!!' and I'm like '....-headdesk-
Anyways, he sat with me on the bus and talked more... I didn't hear most of it, but I played with his kid, lol. She liked my keys. xD and he talked a little about jesus, and somewhere I kinda stumbled on wording, and he's like "What?"
"Well, Im normally talk about my faith to _strangers_. It's not something I do."
He didn't get the hint.
So he talked to me about this guy, Kirk Cameron? And told me to look at his website. And then it was his stop and he's like, "I gotta go. Nice talking to you!"
And I was just like, "o__O; What?"
