&& hey old pal, come share your tales...
Their friendship dated back to their first year at Hogwarts. They were both intelligent young Gryffindors who had a great sense of what life was and what the future held. Lily Evans and Remus Lupin had always been more than just friends. That has no impressions of romantic inclinations from either party though. No, Remus and Lily were like siblings. They were sort of like the other half of the other. They understood and kept each others darkest, most unspeakable secrets. So, when Lily realized that she needed to talk to someone about her situation with Severus and obviously, Remus might like to talk about his situation with Kyndrick, she planned to meet him there on the lawns that afternoon.
She wore a pair of jeans, an cream colored knit sweater, a navy blue scarf, a matching blue hat, and a pair of navy Converse. Her mess of red locks blew about as the wind caught her in her stride towards the willow out on the lawns. She had a book under her arm, typical on a day like that. The weather was lovely. It had been sunny and the snow had vanished in the rains the week before. Sure, it would snow again in a few days. Lily loved embracing the good weather. It was the afternoon on a quiet Saturday. James was at quidditch practice and Severus was working on a Potions experiment. It was just after lunch as well.
She finished her walk towards the tree and sat beneath it. She took a long breath of air. It was so refreshing despite the anxiety growling in the pit of her stomach. This was how she'd felt since the stupid Yule Ball. That night had changed everything. She couldn't keep going playing part-time lover to James and Severus. She didn't know how to deal with it all. She had to leave one of them and pray that James didn't find out about Sev no matter what. James would never forgive Lily if she ever admitted to how she felt about Sev. She ran a hand through the tips of her hair and stared at the pages of her open book without reading. Her mind was much too scattered to focus right then.
She looked up and across the lawns. Of anything, Remus always had that quiet kind of advice that she needed. He worried too so, he always understood where she was coming from. It was weird, he knew her too well.

((something about the title made me think you wanted me to post here lol)) In the darkness you will findDirty little secrets we hideCause we all have a darker sideA place we keep where no one else will find Dark rings hollowed below his brown eyes. Shaggy brunette locks hung a little too long in a messy just-out-of-bed appearance. He raised his hand casually, covering a yawn and then retreating his hand to shake the hair out of his eyes. Again. But you couldn't blame the kid for not caring much for his appearance that day. He had a lot on his mind. He'd had a lot on his mind for the past week, and making sure he looked anywhere near presentable was very far from a care.
Worries like an up and coming lovechild to be born to him. A child that infact, thanks to it's oh-so-brilliant father, would no doubt be a strange hybrid-mix of werewolf and human. Remus could only imagine the hundreds of possibilities this annoying fact could bring about just because of his thoughtless actions on that fateful night of the Yule Ball. He felt completely, and totally to blame for the mess, and was only sorry he'd dragged Kyndrick into it. But it was too late to go back now, but Remus couldn't help but dwell on the issue. And, the unfortunate day back at the lake not so long ago on which Kavic -internal growl- let loose his little furry problem.
He'd been avoiding Kyndrick since. He didn't want to bother her anymore then he already had. Remus had already seen enough to know what she'd say to him when they next crossed paths. There was little doubt in his mind that she was afraid of him. In fact, Remus was sure that she was probably happy they hadn't crossed paths yet, mostly because Remus knew all of the many secret passageways in which he would duck into inbetween classes.
Knowing this didn't make him feel any better.
At least, when he hadn't told her yet, he could picture what she would say or do in a more positive way. He could see her freaking out at first, but then being all 'okay, that's cool' or something afterwards. But, in reality, now that she knew, all he could see was her eyes widening when Kavic had told her, and how she'd run away from him in the rain. He shut his eyes, blocking this out of his head as he reached Lily under the tree. He gave her a weak smile, wondering what it was that she wanted to talk about when she'd told him too meet her here. Something about James? He knew she couldn't be looking for relationship advise from him though. That thought might actually make him laugh had he been in a brighter mood.
'Hey Lily' He said, taking a seat beside her underneath the tree.
