Kyndrick let out a sweet little giggle. It made her sound five again. "Aww, Kavic, you sure are a charmer, aren't you. And if you love me so much, how come you're not a regular of mine? You know my door's always open for lovers dearest. Even if I am pregnant." Kyndrick laughed, losing half her charm along the way. For a girl who claimed she was so classy and cool, she sure lost that easy when she let the wrong things slip. She didn't even know if she was pregnant yet. Why would she say something so stupid!
"I mean, dating a lot. Oh, I don't know what I mean. All I know is whiskey tastes amazing on nights like these." Kyndrick giggled again and leaned over to kiss Kavic full on the lips. If someone wanted to treat her well, Kyndrick didn't want anyone to hold back. From an outsider's view, Kyndrie looked downright pathetic. She didn't know what she was doing with her life. All she could do was giggle in a half-drunken stupor and hope Kavic was willing to really love her for the night. Maybe those were her true intentions behind all the meaningless little kisses. All Kyndrick wanted was to feel loved. She didn't want to feel wanted. People wanted her all the time. They wanted her to kiss, to dance with, to be best friends with, to sleep with. Few people in her life loved her for her though. That was all she really wanted. She wanted to tell someone she loved them and mean it. Why couldn't she?
"My night became great the second I stumbled into you." She smiled a cheesy smile. It was the expression of a girl who'd known how to lie through her teeth all her life to charm the world into thinking she was worth their time when she felt so lost.

Lucius let his glass fall to the ground as he quickly spun around and caught Aericka's free arm gently. "I don't think you're in any shape to be going anywhere, mate," he said to Damon in a firm tone. It was the first time he'd ever really stood up to the older man but he wasn't scared, he'd never forgive himself if he let anything happen to Aericka. "How about I help you two to those chairs over there?" He nodded his head to a group of old arm chairs were a few people were already sitting.
[sorry, I know it's short]

Aericka stumbled into Damon when he tugged on her arm. "Sorry. That pill made my dizzy" she said quietly. She leaned on him wincing as pain went through her arm and nodded. "Whatever you say baby." she said softly. She took a deep breath and tried to focus on other things than the pain. She thought about everything else even the pain to come. The bottle of whiskey fell from her hand to the ground spilling out into the dirt.
As her other arm was grabbed she looked up surprised to see Lucius. She looked at him puzzled and then her expression turned solemn. She understood what he was doing. She looked down blinked a few times her vision awry. "Lucius let go...." she said quietly. In a tone anyone could barely hear. She wanted him to let go before Damon reacted. She didn't want anyone else getting hurt.

The forest seemed too green to him. The bon-fire's flames were turning neon pink in his mind. Then, through the strange blurb of sound, he heard Lucius Malfoy interfere with his intentions. Then, he heard Aericka's response. "Look here Malfoy. My girl and I are going to have a good time tonight. Back down because you don't know what you're getting yourself into." Damon's tone had taken on something dark. It was like he was ten again, telling his father that someday, he'd be big enough to fight back. The root to all evil intentions has to dig deeper than just that they're bad people. Damon's father beat him endlessly as a child. That didn't give him a right to hurt Aericka like he did, but he did have far too much pent up anger for one human being to handle.
"C'mon Aericka. It's okay Baby. We're just gonna have ourselves a little talk. It's just gonna be you and I and some whiskey. We've got all night, a whole night of talking." His voice had something taunting about it. It was as though Damon was luring her in somehow. He couldn't feel shame about it either. Lucius had better back down. Was the only real thought dancing through his Monet painted brain. This was a moment struggling in the grasps of power and Damon liked to have power.

"No," Lucius said, tightening his grip on her arm a bit. "You're not taking her anywhere Damon. I won't let you take her, just talking or not." He now stood directly in front of Damon and started trying to get his hands off Aericka so Lucius could take her away. He knew he had the advantage of being sober, or at least not being quite as out of it as Damon, and he hoped this would be enough to help him win if this came to violence.

It was one swift movement. There was no thought required. There was no magic to be asked for. There was just Damon's fist haphazardly pounding into Lucius Malfoy's face. He didn't process what was happening around him. He didn't even think. He just held Aericka's arm firmly with his other hand while this incident occurred. He hardly had feeling in his hand as it hit his face. Damon was too numbed over with alcohol and drugs that he couldn't notice anything but where he was head and what was about to happen. Before he could look Lucius in the eye again, he dragged Aericka's arm towards an opening in the woods. He wasn't dealing with Malfoy's crap that night.
Now he was away from the party with Aericka's arm still grasped roughly in his hand. "What's Malfoy got a crush on you now Aericka? You're not sneaking around behind my back or something, are you? Cause I can do way better than you Aericka Thorne. You're scum. You're lucky I took you cause no one else would have." Damon's words had turned to a slur. The forest was playing tricks on his mind and he couldn't even comprehend his own words as they made their dangerous exit from his lips.

Aericka didn't even dare flinch as Damon's fist came into contact with Lucius's face. She let herself be dragged away by damon and shook her head. "No. No, Never. " She protested. "Damon I barely know him please. I Don't want anything to do with him. He's a worm. You're all i want all I need. Your word is my law and you know that. You know I'd do whatever you say." she said. Although not everything was true. Aericka knew Lucius, He wasn't a worm and she'd actually like to be his friend but she couldn't tell Damon that. In fear of her life. "I'm yours and yours alone and Ill do anything for you".

He shook the bottle lightly to confirm that there was no swig of liquid, figures, and stared at her. "Pregnant?"
he asked, stunned. It shouldn't be a shock, he knew she got around but still... "Are you sur--" he started, but her kiss stopped him. He felt his eyes close and his hand come up to cup her face. That would be the alcohol (and his teenage boy hormones) kicking in. The small sober part of him was still hung up on the pregnant statement, trying to calculate it. She couldn't be too far along... she looked the type of girl who'd show if she ate to many pieces of chocolate cake at dinner. He opened his eyes when she pulled away, and studied her. If he hadn't drunk a bottle of firewhiskey completely on his own, he may have noticed her lost expression and crave for attention, for affection and reassurance. Even slightly drunk, he could tell that some things were spinning wildly out of control. "My night became great the second I stumbled into you." He smiled at her statement, but it wasn't the care-free grin of earlier. Now it was troubled, as troubled as Koran's expression when she watched him leave the tower earlier. "What's going on?"he asked earnestly, dropping his voice to keep the conversation private. He considered briefly taking her into the woods, at least then the conversation would be private, and then dismissed it. If she wanted to talk about it, then he'd take her some place quieter, if not... well. He'd figure it out. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Post by Remus Lupin on Jan 11, 2009 18:49:52 GMT
Wait. Why was he here again? In the place that Remus had said he wouldn't be going to tonight? Oh yeah. He knew why. Because James and Sirius had had every intention of going. Which then followed with Peter wanting to go. Finally ending with Remus getting dragged along aswell. He just knew that a teacher would end up crashing the party though. From what he'd heard, a lot of the school was attending, and there would be a lot of alcohol. Not that he planned on drinking any of it. Let's just say that Remus wasn't so good with firewhiskey if you caught my drift.
Sneaking through the forest now, Remus had opted into a more casual outfit then his usual school robes. Instead, he had on a pair of dark jeans, and a grey sweater left unzipped. Finally he reached the clearing, in which he found the bundle of students, many who already looked pretty wasted. He was supposed to meet them here, but it seemed like he had beat them. And he'd thought he was late. He should have known. Perhaps he'd just go. He had come hadn't he? And the Mauraders weren't here yet, so he could just simply say he'd gone but couldn't find them. That he'd looked for a good thirty minutes minute, and since he hadn't found them, just decided to leave. Yes. Good plan. He knew this was a stupid, and risky party, so he didn't have to be here.
Just as he had been about to place his plan into action however, he spotted something that made him double back. Kyndrick, with Kavic. No wonder he hadn't spotted them before, seeing as they seemed to be crammed into a couch pretty close. And they were kissing. A small part of him had wondered whether Kyndrick would come that night, but he had been to busy trying to persuade Sirius and James to not go that he hadn't thought much of it. Well, she was here. And well, it wasn't that big of a deal that she should be getting all cozy with Kavic Elliot was it? What had he expected exactly? It had just been a one night stand type deal. There was no reason that he should be feeling all--well, he couldn't exactly put a name to it. But it wasn't jealousy. Remus Lupin wasn't the jealous type. Especially not because Kyndrick Laurent had found a new catch who also happened to be his roommate. Right?
He averted his eyes from them, and scanned his surroundings again, as if this time, his friends might magically appear out of the trees so he could leave.

Funny how one moment can change everything. This was Kyndrick's moment. Well, the closest thing to a moment she'd get that night anyway. She just felt so broken. It was like she'd seen her purpose and it was walking away from her. How could she be so idiotic! And now Kavic would be mixed up in her mess. She such a foolish girl. Kyndrick felt that subtle hatred for herself slip into the back of her mind again. "P..p..pregnant? Uhm, never mind that. I'm not sure about anything. And you don't need to get involved." Kyndrick looked like a deer standing before the headlights. Her wide eyes never looked at Kavic, they were too dead set on Remus who had been watching across the way. She had to fix this somehow, even with the drunken band-aid as her only means to do so."Listen Kavic. I don't know if I'm anything yet. But I'm gonna find out. In the meanwhile, I'm gonna need you to be a doll and pretend you don't know what I said. As far as you're concerned, I'm just a dunk slut saying things that don't make sense." Kyndrick was half charm, half sobered by her mistake. Maybe seeing Remus made her seem more sober. Leave it to Kyndrick to get herself into that spot. She leaned over and kissed Kavic on the cheek. "Go have another drink, you're gonna need one." Kyndrie offered as she stood up and made a fast stride towards Remus. She had to calm herself down. Not only was she nervous as hell over what had just happened, but Remus also had a different sort of affect on her. He made her feel slightly more safe, slightly more reassured that the world wouldn't come crashing down in one swift moment.
"Remus..." She started, placing a hand on his shoulder, suddenly feeling as if she might vomit. She could usually hold more alcohol than that. Maybe this was God's way of saying Listen up party girl, you're pregnant, quit this drinking stuff. Yeah, that was definitely it. "I didn't know you were coming to the party tonight." She tried to think of how she could even talk to him. Had he seen her with Kavic? That might not be a very good thing. Although everyone in school knew she hopped form guy to guy. But Remus? He didn't have to see that. That was stupid of her! "Listen, can I talk to you? I mean, really talk to you. Not like, play stupid mind games or anything." She tried to express what she meant. Her head was starting to hurt. She definitely shouldn't have come out that night. She felt like crying. Why did she feel like crying! Maybe it was because she knew what was coming. Kyndrick was so unsure of herself. Like, everything in life was a "maybe" to her. Nothing would ever be concrete or real.

"You're a lot of trouble Aericka. Why would Malfoy act that way! He must like you or something. I don't believe you, you're sneaking around my back. I'm sure if it!" Damon's eyes had grown wider. The spin in his head was increasing and he knew what was coming. He felt that sick feeling in the pit of his stomach, it was always the same.
It was like slipping into a pool of black and white. Damon could feel his father's grip around his arms, shaking his body til it felt like he couldn't feel them anymore. The numbness crept through his body, seeping through every part of him as his father took a belt to his back over and over again. He wanted to scream, say something, cry out. That would only get him into more trouble, more pain. Damon felt how his teeth clenched, how his body ached from within. He felt that burning sensation as he bit down on his lower lip to shut out other pains and blood began to gush out in small amounts. He felt that horrid hatred forming in his mind. Over and over again. All he could process was how much he hated everything in the world.
He raised his band to her and slapped her hard across the face. "Sit down." He demanded, treating her like a dog. She looked at her like she was something filthy. He raised his hand to her again and hit her in the stomach. He watched to see if she'd cry or take it. This was what it was like.

Aerie knew what was coming and pressed her lips together tightly so she wouldn't cry out. Her head whipped to the side and her cheek stung badly. Blood dripped from her lips and she dropped her gaze to the forest floor. Her blood coloered the thin layer of snow and she closed her eyes wincing at his voice. She coughed and a little more blood escapde her lips as she dropped to the ground. She knew to stay silent. She kept her teeth clenched tightly as the blood dripped steadily from her mouth.
drip......drip......drip......drip
Don't cry. She though as she felt the tears coming on. Please. Please don't cry she begged herself. She closed her eyes and a single tear fell. Damnit Aericka! Damnit you're so pathetic! She screamed in her head. She scolded herself instead of blaming Damon. It's all your fault!

Post by Noah Hart on Jan 11, 2009 22:48:12 GMT
Noah had spent the most of his night trying to find his dear friend Aericka, while having one of two drinks. Nothing too strong of course, and he wasn't really able to handle it. He knew his limits, and he wasn't one for excessive drinking. He felt fine, and perfectly fuctional, so everything would be okay, he wouldn't pass out or anything. Smiling, he spotted her. This smile turned to a frown almost immediately as he noticed it was her boyfriend, and another Slytherin who's name he could not really remember.
His eyes had long since been ajusted to the bright glow of the half moon, and he could see pretty well. Well enough to see Aerie's blood falling into the snow. Maybe no one else could tell, but Noah knew well enough she was trying to stop herself was crying out. Well, Slytherin or no Slytherin, he wasn't going to put up with this. Noah was the last person who anyone would expect to fight. Even so he ran to Aericka's side, ignoring any possible consiquences of his actions. "Aerie, are you going to be all right?" he handed her his handerkerchief, and motioned for her to keep pressure on her lips, to stop the bleeding. He didn't even pay attention to that bastard, Damon. He was far too concerned.

Ah. Well she'd seen him. Great. Remus hadn't wanted her to see him watching her. It made him seem kind of, weird in a way. He couldn't exactly explain it. What if she thought he was staring her down for kissing another guy? It wasn't like they were exactly dating or anything, so should he be mad? Or, although he hoped against hope this part wasn't true, jealous? Then she was walking towards him, and had placed her hand on his shoulder.
'I hadn't wanted to. But you know, got sort of dragged into it' He said quietly in an answer with a shrug. He raised his eyebrows at her when she spoke again. She didn't look so good. Not, herself. When she asked if they could talk, Remus nodded, his face slightly concerned. Who cared if he'd just seen her kissing another guy? She looked like she was about to cry or something, and well, Remus didn't like it. 'Sure. Is something wrong?' He asked.

Lucius staggered backward a few steps, surprised by Damon's use of physical contact instead of magic. But it would take a lot more than a bloody nose to keep him down. He watched furiously as Damon dragged Aerie off into the woods. Whipping out his wand, he started to go after the pair when he noticed Noah Hart already on their trail. He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm down. Then he said a few spells to fix his nose and clean up the few blood drops already staining his jacket.
'Hart will yell if he needs help,' he told himself as he fixed another drink to help calm him. 'And if he's not back in ten minutes with Aerie, I'm going in after them. Either way, I'm gonna kill Damon the next time I see him.' Taking large gulps of the drink, Lucius sat down in an old armchair nearby the couch Kavic was sitting in. He then tried to focus on what everyone else was doing.
