}}hogwarts was known for its wild nights in the forbidden forest{{
&& the heart wants what it wants dearest... Her brown eyes sparkled with mischief as she sipped from a flask of whiskey. She wore a gray suit with wide-legged pants. With it, she wore a plain white blouse and black heels that definitely didn't seem fitting for the forest. Of course, Kyndrick hadn't walked into the forest that night. No, walking would have gotten her dirty and ruined her spirit. She had arrive don broomstick. Very classy of her.
She sat on an old couch situated near the bon-fire. Only a few people had arrived so far. There was a keg for one thing, situated atop an old card table. This crowd left a lot of old furniture out in the woods for just those occasions. Kyndrie was very proud of herself for being so subtle about their location for her 7 years of schooling. Few ever believed her when she'd said she'd been partying since she was an ickle firstie. That's Kyndrick for you though.
Despite the mellow atmosphere of pre-party chatting, Kyndrick felt a little sick. She was two weeks late on her monthlies and didn't know if she should be concerned about her little rendezvous with a certain Remus Lupin. It wasn't in her nature to be that concerned, but she felt something subtly wrong about her. Last week, they'd been on a trip to Diagon Alley and a little kid had gotten lost from his mum. Kyndrie had reacted instantly, helping the child calm down, stop crying, and search for his mother. That was definitely not how Kyndrick was seen. And the other night, she'd helped a little first-year girl with her charms homework! Maybe Kyndrick was sick. Maybe it was time to talk to someone about it. She didn't know who to go to first, her friend Rose or Remus himself. For one thing, Rose was damn good at keeping a secret. For another, Remus could be trusted to actually help her should that be the case.
Kyndrick let it go for now. This was supposed to be a party. She and Luey had planned it. So many students had signed up to go on the Hogwarts bulletin board. Kyndrick had been looking forward to this for quite a while. It was time to let go, drink, dance, maybe experiment with a new boy or a new drug. Kyndrick saw limitless possibilities in store. This was her night. How come she couldn't manage to get him out of her head though! Lupin was just a one-night-stand. How could she be so concerned now? It seemed utterly ridiculous to let him get to her thoughts that way. It was time to party. Kyndrie ran a hand through her messy brown locks and took a long sip from her flask. "Just let go..." She murmured to herself as her eyes scanned her now growing crowd as a new group slipped through the trees and into the clearing.

Kavic streched out on the love seat, legs thrown unceremoniously over one arm, his back against the other arm. He rested his head on his hand (which in turn, was propped up by his arm on the back of the couch) and watched the party quietly from his spot, well aware that he was unashamedly hogging the couch. Oh well. Try and move him, the sixth year, nearly a glorious seventh year… he was already older then most of his year mates and as old as the seventh years. And therefore almost untouchable, right? Sliding a little in his chair, he lay on his back, rolled slightly on his side to watch the fire and the milling students. And the crazy dancers in front of the fire. He grinned, light weights were fun to watch. Speaking of lightweights… He took a long draught from the bottle of firewhiskey. He must be getting used to it… this drink didn’t burn nearly as much as the previous had. Either that, or he was getting drunker. One or the other. Or both. Who could say? As long as the glade wasn’t spinning like a top… Oh wait. Too late. He dragged himself up then, laying horizontally made it worse as opposed to sitting up straight. Funny huh? He supposed he’d have to get up and walk around in a little bit, but he was content to sit, sit and drink for the time. And speaking of drinking… Replacing the drink on the bottle… or rather, the cap on the bottle, he leaned into the cushions of the couch, not feeling the motivation to move. Part of him could vaguely remember there was something he had been worried about, something that made the party even more appealing even though Koran had rolled her eyes at him for saying it. She was always worried though. That was her thing he supposed, worrying about the family, him, their family in London…
Oh right…
That was the problem. They, he and his sister, had received a letter from home that morning. There had been a huge crash, a fiery crash, and some buildings had been damaged by it. Unfortunately, it was their uncles work that had been apart of the damage, and he was hurt. Nothing serious, full recovery expected, but it was one of many ‘incidents’ in Londontown of late and who could say if… if…. Kavic sighed aloud, feeling himself sober up against his will. He wasn’t going to think of his name, not this night. This was a night for fun and lightness, not worrying about things beyond his control. He took another long drink from the bottle. This wasn’t the night to be worrying.

Aericka leaned forward close to the mirror applying her makeup.. She had to look good for the party. No matter what. She usually didn't dress up but tonight she was wearing a nice party dress but seeing as the party was in the forest she chose a pair of black skinny jeans to wear under the dress. Casual yet dressy. She indeed was walking to the forest in her converse but planned on stashing them in exchange for her favorite black flats instead. After applying the light pink eyeshadow she put her makeup in a small purse and slung it over her shoulder.
uhmmmm....
She threw things from her trunk until she reached the bottom and retrieved her flats. She smiled and stuck them in the purse with ease a long with her wand just in case. She checked herself over in the mirror and took off down the stairs into the common room. She waved quickly to people she passed and moved right to and past the portrait hole in mere seconds. She slid down the banisters to make it quicker and landed silently on the ground floor. She quickly slid outside without anyone noticing and began her walk across the grounds.
Interesting
She smiled at people passing and slipped behind a tree before she entered the main spot for the party swapping shoes and leaving her converse unattended. She walked out into the Bonfire area and sat down watching everyone for a moment. Not really looking for anyone to talk to yet. She was seated on one of the old couches next to the arm. She leaned on it casually and with the light shimmering off of her face it really was some picture of elegance. At least, it would make a good picture of elegance If Noah was around with his camera.

Lucius walked alone in the forest, enjoying the sound of twigs snapping and leaves crunching under his boots. He had his hands stuffed into jean pockets and his eyes were downcast, looking at the hard forest floor. A breeze blew by him and he wrapped his jacket tighter around himself, wondering why anyone in their right mind would have a party in the Forbidden Forest in the dead of winter. He continued on through the trees, following the drunken laughter he heard up ahead. He finally came to a clearing where twenty or so students were gathered, drinking around a fire.
He sighed, looking at the bunch and pondering if he should join them. In truth, he didn't want to come that night. He'd heard about the party from a friend who said that there would be booze and it would be a lot of fun. Lucius didn't care about having fun right now, anything but, actually. But the booze was another story. He pushed past a few students and made his way to the card table. He smiled a bit, noticing that someone had been thoughtful enough to bring butterbeer. He poured himself a glass and added a large dose of firewhiskey. Sighing again, Lucius took his concoction over to a large oak tree and leaned against the trunk while sipping from the glass.

Kyndrick's eyes lit up as she spotted Kavic Elliot across the mess of people. He was all strewn across a couch or some such. A thought hit her fast and she got up, stumbling slightly as her heel caught in a small root. She gulped down the remains of the flask and dropped it on the couch behind her. She staggered slightly towards Kavic and ran right into Aericka Thorne. "Oh, sorry doll-face. I'm a little tipsy already." Kyndrick offered with a wink. She kissed Aericka on the cheek before making it over to the couch.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Kavic himself. How are you doing cute boy?" She murmured, pushing some space beside him so she could sit down comfortably. She was feeling a little too touchy-feeley tonight, hopefully Remus wouldn't show up cause Kyndrick didn't want him to see her that way. Unless of course he'd shown up to be with her. In that case, she'd love to see him. In the meanwhile, she needed a little fun to spice up the night.
"Tell me love, how is your night going? Drunk enough to love me yet?" She asked sounding completely ridiculous. Everything sounded perfect within the confines of her mildly drunken mind though. Kyndrie loved parties and this was why. She didn't see Kavic out in the forest as much though, she genuinely wondered how he liked the party. Kyndrick ran a hand through her messy hair and looked Kav right in the eyes with that special sort of charm.

Damon had a frustrated look on his face as he trudged recklessly through the woods. He wore a pair of skinny jeans, a white t-shirt with an electric blue cassette tape on it, a purple hoodie, and a pair of black converse. His hair was a mess and he had the stench of stale alcohol emanating from his body as if it were turning to his natural odor. Most would say that wasn't healthy, Damon said it was life.
He made his slightly clumsy entrance into the clearing to spot a lot of familiar faces. He'd spent a great deal of his time in that forest of the years. Hopefully tonight would be equally as interesting. There was a contributing factor Damon needed to make that night complete though. He slipped through the crowd in search of Aericka Thorne. He spotted her back to him so, he came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "Hey Babe. I see you came out tonight." He said with a certain level of what could be called as close to compassion as Damon came.
A lot of the other students at Hogwarts didn't know how abusive Damon was to Aericka. He kept it on a very low profile and assumed she didn't ago around talking about it. To Damon, his abuse seemed like a problem he might fix one day when he had time, not a top priority. Now was a night for fun and he'd love to get drunk and enjoy the presence of a few different girls. He spotted Kyndrick Laurent on a couch next to Kavic Elliot. Looks like she's found her night buddy. Although no one ever knows with her. He thought to himself. Maybe he'd have to settle for trying to get Aericka...

Aericka giggled slightly and shook her head at Kyndrick. She laughed as she started getting close with Kavic and covered her mouth in case she heard. Kyndrick was fun and funny when she was drunk.
Aericka smiled lightly and sighed. Yes, Damon abused her but truth be tols she really cared about him. She really did love most things about him and as long as she could grasp the idea that he might quit the beatings she would stay loyal. Although she knew how most nights ended with Damon. She would sit on the end of a couch while he got drunk and kissed every other girl right in front of her. Maybe she'd get some attention this time. She inhaled deeply and smiled. "mmm... You smell like whiskey" she said turning around in his arms. She put her arms around his neck and kissed him lightly. "So, What do you want to do tonight baby" she asked. All she wanted to do was keep Damon happy and have fun tonight. And she wanted to be the only girl he was kissing.
If anyone knew how Damon treated her they would think she was crazy to still be with him let alone dote on him so much. Aerie was different though. Even though he beat her she still managed to love him. She shifted a little bit in his arms to take some weight of one of his arms off one of her bruises hidden safely under her sirt.

Part of Damon knew what a horrible person he was. It was just a very quiet part of him. He held Aericka in his arms and kissed her so shamelessly. How could he do that? How could he do that knowing in a few hours they'd probably end up alone somewhere. He'd probably end up hurting her, as usual. He was such an ass and he knew it.
"What do I wanna do? You'll see." He winked at her. "What do you want to do?" He asked for once. This was a rare moment. Him asking her what she wanted to do. Hopefully she was grateful. He then let her comments go and looked over in the direction of Lucius Malfoy. "Lucius! Hey, I've got something fun cooked up. Firecrackers. Wanna help me light them off pretty soon?" He called across the space in a typically loud party voice.

Aericka smirked and let out a small laugh. "I'd just like to get a little drunk and see what happens" she smiled. It was true. If the night went well while she was drunk she and Damon would have one of the rare party nights where she didnt get beaten. But if it went bad being drunk would numb most of the pain. She smiled and sighed. Firecrackers. This one ought to be good.
She looked over to Lucius whom she had just recently shared an empty classroom with. Just studying though. They were very civilized. She offered a smile in his direction and a small wave. Tiny so Damon couldn't see though. She didn't want him getting the wrong idea. "After you're done with those firecrackers I hope I'll be the only thing you're setting off" she said softly kissing him again.

Lucius was enjoying himself. Off in his own little corner, he could see everything happening at the party, and the drinking only made him think he cared about what was going on. In truth, he wasn't too surprised to see Kyndrick so drunk this early on, and he could care less about half of the other kids there, until Damon entered. Slytherin or no Slytherin, Damon wasn't one of Lucius' favorite guys. He was a jerk, and Lucius knew it. But he never told anyone what he thought of the older man, especially Damon himself.
Lucius was just about to get himself a refill when he heard his name being called. He turned to face Damon and smiled for Aericka's sake. 'What the hell is a girl like that doing with that moron?' he asked himself for the umpteenth time. "Sure, sounds like fun,' Lucius called back, trying to sound as enthusiastic as he could before trotting off to get more firewhiskey.

Damon smiled and turned his attention back to Aericka. "Ya know, I don't get that guy. He seems a little depressed if you ask me." Damon offered a huge slice of hypocrisy for the crowd to devour. He leaned down to give Aericka another kiss. "That's the spirit, let's get drunk and see where the night takes us!" Damon offered with some real enthusiasm for the moment. It would be a fun night as long as she was there.
Damon now made his way over to another card table with some whiskey on it. He grabbed two plastic cups and less than gracefully poured the alcoholic beverage into them. "Drink up." Damon offered Aericka a cup and gulped his own down in one shot. "Not even a burn." He laughed to himself. That was Damon, always ready to brag even when there wasn't anything to brag about. He spotted a couple of little purple pills sitting on the edge of the table and without thinking, grabbed one and gulped it down.

Aericka smiled and took one of the cups gulping down the contents. Not as fast as Damon did but just the same there wasn't any burn. She studied the pills and picked one up unsure what to do. If it was the wrong kind of substance it could kill her she knew that but she had to keep damon happy. She tilted her head and looked up at Damon for a second then decided to down the pill. She didn't feel any immediate affects but she was sure it would make her high or something. She reached behind her for the bottle of whiskey and took a swig straight from the bottle to wash the pill down.
Still holding the bottle Aericka fixed the straps of the dress to keep it in place. The bruise was on the edge of the seem. One wrong move and it would show. But she always had excuses and no one ever questioned her further even know they knew who, or what, she was dating. She closed her eyes for a minute feeling dizzy. That pill.... She really needed Noah Oliver or Harmony here. They could keep her stable. But with none of them to play referee she was on her own. That was pure danger.

Lucius watched Aericka and Damon in spite of himself. He didn't know why it was bothering him so much to see them together. It's not like he cared about all the other girls Damon had been with. But he watched nevertheless. Shaking his head as the pair took some unknown pills, he poured himself a third drink, having downed the last in two gulps. He was just tightening the cap on the bottle of butterbeer when he noticed a bruise on Aericka's arm.
Not thinking anything of it, he continued on making his drink. Then he looked back at Damon and frowned as a disturbing thought crossed his mind. Subtly, Lucius inched a little closer to the couple to better hear their conversation. Casually, he leaned against the card table and began sipping the drink.

Kavic smiled at her. "Hey pretty lady." he said, moving to make room for her, not that she needed much room by God, tiny little thing that she was. Amazing too, considering how much alcohol she could drink and still be standing straight. One would think that after a drink or two, she'd end up head over heels giggling in the grass... although that could probably happen. He leaned into her shoulder with a laugh. "Aw, Kyndrick, I love you when I'm sober, you hardly need to get me drunk."
he joked, putting an arm around her shoulder and kissing her temple. He laughed again. "And even then, it doesn't take me that much to get drunk, so your just about perfect. As always." Catching sight of Lucius and Damon with Aericka, Kavic felt himself frown. Ah, bugger. It was a school wide party, all four houses, so Slytherins being present wouldn't be a shock. But still... and Damon was scum. Anyone could tell... expect maybe the girl who was kissing him. He shook his head, and took another drink from his bottle. Amazing how it never emptied. He turned his attention back to the girl sitting next to him. "How is my night going? I have a never ending bottle apparently, the night is young, and I have a pretty girl next to me, what could be better?" he removed his arm and tweaked her nose affectionately. "How is your night going?" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Damon watched as the colors danced behind his eyelids when he closed his eyes. He opened them again to watch the other party-goers blur into this dizzy carousel of chaos. It was like some messed up Monet painting. He grabbed Aericka's arm without thinking and tugged her, harder than he realized, toward his body. His mind was going to a different place now. He didn't even notice Lucius Malfoy standing right beside them.
"Aerie, there's the couch out in the forest a ways. We're going there, ok? Just you and me." Damon's words seemed to meld together into this messy jumble. His sentences all sounded like one. He just grabbed Aericka's arm a lot tighter than he would in public. By the sound of his tone, there was more than just his fingerprints on her arm about to take place. He wondered if anyone would stop her? If anyone knew that she'd do anything to appease him. He took advantage of Aericka's will to please.
