Kissing your lips at midnightUnder the stars and moonlightBut I never thought we'd be this strongThe nights go on and on . Obviously Gemma knew he was just joking, but the thoughts were amusing nontheless. 'Of course not' She said, rolling her eyes dramatically at him, her voice trailing as if she might change her mind. Make them jealous with our wild dance moves? Ha, that was going to happen all right. Gemma wasn't really the 'dancing' type. She was the 'standing by the punch-bowl and pigging out on the dessert' type when it came to parties. Gemma had barely opened her mouth to reply to his 'options' when she felt his hand on hers, and she was whisked away to the group of people dancing. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw where they were headed and his words clicked in. He was serious? She laughed when they had stopped and Lucius began his crazy charade of outrageous dance moves. Shaking her head at him, she stood sort of off to the side and watched. 'You know, I kind of would have gone with the first option. I'm not much of a dancer.' She explained lightly, laughing. 'Neither are you. You look like you're going to pull a muscle' She added with a grin. [/ul]

Amoretta was away of nothing except the never-ending throbbing in her head. It felt as she was about to implode and explode at the same time...was that even possible? She breathed deeply, closing her brown-hazel eyes, beginning to feel panicky on the inside. Stop, you have friends who are going to help you! They can help you... She thought to herself sternly, needing to be cheered up. "Haley please help, I want to take her over to the log, She looks as if she is going to faint any moment." Amoretta felt Serenity take her hands and sighed with relief.
Next, Haley had draped her other arm over her own shoulder. "Are you all right?" Amoretta heard Haley's voice, but it sounded so far away. She sunk onto the log with relief, planting her feet with determination on the ground so she wouldn't fall off. "I don't know,"
Amoretta whispered, even the thought of talking regular making her head throb, "My head, it's throbbing and I feel awful.." Amy finished, placing a tan hand on her dirty blond head, massaging her temples. The girl wandered deeply what in Godric was happening to her. Was shy dying? Catching some rare wizarding disease? Did she hit her head? Somewhere in the conscious state of mind, Amy felt her skull drop into two hands quickly. She felt odd, as if she were out of her own body and, well, floating around in emptiness. It was quite a scary feeling. She blinked, peeking from between her fingers to look at her two friends, feeling afraid.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Brooke wasn't mad. Oh no, she passed that line ten minutes ago while she was crossing the castle grounds-alone. Alone, for god's sakes! Wasn't there a rule against Head Cheerleaders being so...unconnected? She wasn't angry, or upset, or exasperated-The girl was livid. It was impossibly rare for the girl to be in such a horrible state during the weekend-she was always out somewhere till an hour or so after midnight since fifth year. Ravenclaws are normally seen as the innocent, studious angels of Hogwarts. How she laughed at the imagery. Brooke was known through-out the entire school as one of its biggest party girls. Studious indeed.
But to add insult to injury, not even Haley was there to comfort her. Rachel had to catch on an assignment, and since she was supposed to be fighting with Peyton, that name was crossed off the list as well. But the reason she was looking for any of the girls in the first place was because her normal madhouse-of-a-weekend mates were nowhere to be seen. Not a single one from any of the houses. Not.a.single.one. Something was impossibly wrong. Which brought the picture back ti Haley, the sweet little tutor girl. Where in the world was she?
It didn't take long for Brooke to get the picture and storm down to the infamous Hogwarts Bulletin Board to check out some of the more interesting details that the bext wizarding chess meeting. She had never had the need to check the board, as someone was always there to give her the latest venues about five seconds after the note was posted. She felt indescribably pathetic to have to stoop so low.
The clearing in the Forbidden Forest wasn't hard to find, at least if you've been there about half a million times. Which Brooke had. A small part of her reminded her as she stomped on that it was partly her fault, as she had spent the entire week in the library catching up on work, but it was so much easier to ignore that tiny voice.
Even though it was all too expected, Brooke's eye's tightened, grey irises flashing an angry silver at the sight of her so-called best friend, Haley, leaning over someone at the log. But it was public time, so Brooke quickly wiped her face cool and expressionless as she crossed the clearing to join them. Whoever they were with Haley instead of herself. But at least, she comforted herself, the party seemed missable. There was nothing to see but teenagers stone-drunk, and she wrinkled her nose in distaste to see the ever charming Malfoy look the complete opposite with dance steps that looked set to maim as she passed him dancing with a girl whom had her back to her.
Brooke's eyes flashed warningly at Haley's as she joined the three on the log, but she averted her gaze to the girl before her whom looked an awful shade of green. It was someone in her own year, a Gryffindor, and after a few seconds of thought Brooke finally remembered the girl to be called Amoretta. She dropped to her knees before the girl so their faces were on the same level. Her anger disappeared for a second, and concern took her place.
"God, what happened?" she asked, putting her back to Haley and turning to face Serenity instead. She never saw anyone look as bad as Am did-at least, not during parties. Those kind of skin tones were usually reserved for hungover. She placed a hand on the girl's forehead, finding nothing out of the ordinary, held it against the girl's cheek to make her turn to Brooke. After all, she was the hang-over cure expert. Potions came in handy at the most unexpected moments.
"Amoretta, sweetie, I need to tell me what you took," Brooke instructed firmly, her face showing only a sliver of the worry she felt.

Amoretta, for a moment, was aware of someone's eyes on here. For a split second, it seemed this person as angry or something and she sighed. Even the effort of that seemed to split her head, and hot tears formed themselves in her hazel colored eyes. This was all just too much. Why did it have to happen on the night of the huge party that everyone who's anyone was going to?
But then Amoretta saw who it was, she thought it was Brooke Davis, cheerleading captain (everyone knew who they were, they were probably the most popular). "God, what happened?" Amy heard the unfamiliar voice say, though she was uncertain of whether the question was directed at her or not. "I don't know I just came and my head started throbbing and I feel like I'm tipsy but I haven't even had anything to drink!" Amoretta whispered, her voice slowly raising with confusion as she didn't understand why she was like this.
"Amoretta, sweetie, I need to tell me what you took."
Again, the voice sounded so far away, and it seemed that Amy was out-of-body. If she was a tad sharper, she might've noticed the worry that crossed Brooke's face but Amy didn't see it and instead just sat there for a moment. With a slightly tilted head, she wandered if she had taken anything and was suddenly utterly unsure. Did she take something to help her headache but instead it made it worse? But Amoretta knew she hadn't taken a drug, and was pretty sure she hadn't drank anything. "I don't think I took anything, this awful headache just suddenly started to pound through my skull. But I've been having minor headache's the past few months, slowly building up until tonight."
Amoretta whispered, suddenly recalling all the other headaches she had brushed away.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lucius laughed, slowing his dancing down as the song ended and another, only slightly slower one started. "My dancing is fine," he said, continuing with the ridiculous moves. He looked forward to the day when he could surprise Gemma with his flawless dancing. "And you just need to loosen up and have some fun." Lucius smirked as he watched Brooke pass by. 'Ah, the definition of fun. Laurent starts the parties, Davis keeps 'em interesting.'
He turned his attention back to Gemma and grinned. "Now, are you even going to try to dance, or are you going to let people think I'm crazy?" Lucius motioned to a group of Gryffindors who were staring at him. A few of them laughed as he tried to wave while continuing to dance. "What do you usually do for fun, anyway? I mean, you're not a partier, so that rules out a lot of options. I'm guessing you don't dance. What else is there?"

Whoah. Brooke's eyebrows scrunched together in uncertainty as the girl started crying softly, but she quickly caught herself and waved up a handkerchief with her ever-trusty oak wand. Instead of handing it over to to Amy-she very seriously doubted the girl could even focus that much-she wiped away the tears herself, balling up the lavender-smelling cloth into the girl's hand after she finished. Frustration added to her earlier annoyance-the cause of which was still firmly behind her-and the action was rougher than either of them probably liked. "Sorry, kid," she apologized, although in her own oh-so-humble mind she thought that Amorette was lucky Brooke was even there.
Brooke raised her eyebrows at Serenity at Amy's words doubtfully. Sheah right. The gryffindor probably forgot about it-a few more drinks and the girl would undoubtedly have forgotten her own name. But there was no questioning the girl's sincerity, and Brooke whom fancied herself quite an accomplished reader of people, knew that as far as Amoretta knew, she indeed hadn't taken anything. That night. A late reacting hang-over, maybe? Anyways, it would have had to be some seriously strong crap, something that even the blue clad cheerleader whom had been partying every other night since she was that high had never seen. Kyndrick might though;the girl was even more outrageous than Brooke. The two Ravenclaws singlehandedly pulverized the 'studious nerds' image Ravenclaw had going on. Too bad Kyndrie was nowhere to be seen just than. Typical.
But I've been having minor headache's the past few months, slowly building up until tonight." Amoretta whispered, suddenly recalling all the other headaches she had brushed away.
She shifted her gaze back to the girl, worried to find her drifting off none too pleasantly. She was so not into having to take responsibility if something major happened to her. After all, Brooke had just arrived. It was indescribably unfair if the whole thing was to blow up on her. So going to the infirmary was out, which only left the mostly-wasted kids trying to fix the girl themselves. Brooke sighed self-pityingly. She did have some pity for the girl before her, whom was obviously in pain-after all, b**** as she may be, Brooke was no beast-but it was somewhat outweighed by her irritation.
A curt nod was all Amy got in return for her explanation, and Brooke was already a million miles away in deep thought. "Next time make sure you're ready for the majors before you come trotting out in your uniform," she said distractedly, biting her lip in concentration. It may be but a normal pain, than, but Brooke was no healer. She never had the desire to be one, although she's gotten the basics from a particularly boring weekend in bed after she broke her leg. I mean, the thing healed instantly, but her father insisted on his 'little princess' staying in bed till she was all better.
She would see what she could do. And it seems...not much. Than her face relaxed, although her eyes were still cold and contemplative, and Brooke fished in her pockets, taking out a little tube of pills. She shook out two, and handed them to the girl. "Chug these down. If what you have is indeed but a headache, it'll help. Wait a sec, while I get some water." Without any further hesitation, Brooke stood and instantly disappeared in the crowds, heading towards the set card table. Somebody better have had the wit to bring some water...

Kissing your lips at midnightUnder the stars and moonlightBut I never thought we'd be this strongThe nights go on and on Gemma rolled her eyes at him, knowing he was probably right on his second line but unwilling to admit it outloud. It was probably just the too-stubborn part of her. She knew that, had she be a little more carefree and comfortable in her surroundings, she would be right there beside him. She had felt a little better upon seeing him at the party when he'd walked up to her, glad that he hadn't pretended he didn't know her or something and walked away like she knew Tyler and Cassandra would have done should she approach them. She knew this little fact because she'd tried in her first year.
But the point stayed the same, she felt a little out of place surrounded by the dozens of drunken students. She laughed at him, follwing his gaze to the gryfindors and noticing for the first time that she wasn't the only one who thought he was being crazy. Her cheeks turned a pink at the knowledge that they had a little audience. 'Probably the latter. I could hardly call what you're doing dancing' She said with a grin.
Gemma grimaced, shrugging a little at his question. Well, she did a lot of things for fun. Art was probably one of her biggest passions, but a very select few ever got a peek at her scetch book. She had this annoying habit of loving her drawings until she showed them to someone. Then she would absolutely detest the pictures and throw them in the trash can, despite whatever the viewer's opinion of them being good or bad. 'I don't know...art I guess? The usual' She said with a shrug. 'And yourself? Or do you just find random forest parties to crash?' She added brightly.

Lily was having fun dancing up until the point when she followed Kavic's stare towards Koran who seemed to be plowing in the other direction. Lily searched for the source of the chaos but only saw a few others entering the chaos. Hayden, Alice, Serneity, Haley, Gemma, and Brooke. How many others had come? That was when Lils realized the trouble with Hayden and Koran and now Serenity was slowly being pulled in too... She hesitated and then stopped dancing. "Should we go help Koran make an escape? It seems she wants away from here along the lines of now." Lily remarked lightly.
She stepped away from Kavic but still held one of his hands, pulling him through the crowd towards Kora with her. The party seemed maddening. Amy looked very sick. Poor girl had some help though. Lily was rather surprised to see that Serenity hadn't rushed over to Hayden right away though. This night was full of surprises.

The party was kicking and everyone was having fun. Besides Sky. She was stone drunk. She had no idea where she was or what she was doing, all that she knew was there were lots of trees, plenty of booze, and her head extremely hurt. She grabbed her head by her fringe, and squinted. She had found a relativity quiet section of the forest, and layed down. So THAT'S where she was! She vaguely remembered Kyndrie mentioning a big bash in the Forbidden Forest.
That had to be where she was. Stumbling to the ground on her bear knees, she tilted her head back on the hard wet ground and listened to the far-away chatter and music, but focusing on keeping herself awake, just in case. She had never been really drunk before, just a few fire whiskeys with Kyn. She pressed two cold hand to her forehead.
This sucked. She was close to a migrane. She hoped someone-anyone-would come soon.

Kavic followed her a bit slowly, undecided. On one hand, he felt that Koran needed to talk to Hayden to get this... thing resolved. On the other, he wanted to be as far away as possible when the sure to be ensuing argument exploded (and the ensuing spells... from Koran in particular.). Decisions, decisions...
Koran wiggled her way through some fourth years and out into the forest, risking a glance over her shoulder. Good, he hadn't seen her... or at least, he wasn't heading her way. She couldn't see her brother or Lily though, hopefully they weren't following... She all but ran into the dark shadows of the forest, edging her way through the trees until her way was just barely lit from the light of the fire, and the music was distant. Lighting her wand tip with a whisper she edged around a tree and sat within the confines of its roots, dousing the light and hugging her knees to her chin and resting her head against the rough bark.
