Kyndrick's eyes had begun to well with tears. She looked to the ground and shook it off, not wanting Remus to pity her stupid self. She sighed and then looked back at what she was walking away from. Drunk teens were scattered around the fire. There were a couple kids tripping on drugs over by the table. A fight was just broken up and she felt like maybe she should have gone to look after Aericka. There was such a mixed energy in the air.
Making up her mind, Kyndrick slipped her hand into Remus's. "Walk with me?" She asked lightly. She was truing to ease that stupid moan in her stomach, the desire to go back to the castle and throw up for a few hours was catching up to her faster than it should have. She walked with Remus away from the party and under the cover of the dark trees. Kyndrick hated feeling lost in the dark. She stood closer to Remus than was necessary to try and shake off all the sounds of the forest. She'd left her broom at the clearing, but it didn't matter. "Remus, what happened between us, that night we spent together may not have been the best idea..." She tried to address what was on her mind. How did she know? Wasn't there a spell to find out if a girl was pregnant? Did he know it? Did Rose? She didn't know who else to talk to. In the muggle world, she would have just gone to a damn pharmacy.
"Remus, I think we got a little carried away. Now, don't get me wrong, I've gotten carried away more than my fair share of times before. But , this time was different. I'm late. I mean, I'm worried. I don't know how you even tell these things. I need to find out and I don't know how. I don't know who to talk to about all of it. I figure you should know in case that is the case though." Kyndrick's face had taken on such a worried look. She wondered how many people had seen her really worry before. She could think of Rosalie only.

Remus watched her with wary eyes, his curiousity growing stronger by the minute. What was going on? Why was Kyndrie being so--unKyndrish? It was like that all-time party girl had something really troubling her, and for once, she wasn't that carefree girl Remus had always known. 'Okay' He answered, taking her hand as he walked along side her deeper into the forest. When she turned to face him, he found her much closer then before, which then reminded him of the last time they'd been so close. It seemed that she remembered that too though, as the next words out of her mouth implied.
Not the best idea? Well no, it probably hadn't. But it wasn't like Remus regretted it. He'd actually somehow come to, well, really like Kyndrick and he'd thought she might have started to feel the same way. But her words seemed to speak otherwise. Was she worried that Remus would spread rumours or something of the two of them together? Perhaps that was why she looked so close to tears. She was worried about her rep. How...odd. He opened his mouth to reasure her, but she beat him too it, and was already talking again.
Remus blinked at her. What did she mean? Late? Late for an appointment? Late for detention? People could be late in so many things, yet he didn't see why she would take him to talk privately to tell him she was missing her dentist to be at a party. A small voice in the back of his head began explaining the other thing she could be late for, and this seemed to make Remus freeze completely. It couldn't be. That was impossible. It had been one time. She was talking about something else. But, in which case was she talking about? Quickly pushing that thought away from his mind, he raised his eyebrows at her, willing her to explain. 'What do you mean?' He asked quietly,

"I'm an idiot. That's all there is to it. Forget it. I think I'm pregnant." She came out and said it feeling the stress crush down on her suddenly. It was the second time she's said it and she couldn't help but feel more and more stupid by the second. How could she say it over and over again? She could tell Remus would be angry. "I feel bad. I mean, I feel bad for the way I'm telling you. Look, I don't regret what happened. I'm only going to sound more ridiculous by the second, but that night with you was different for me. I feel as though I could really have something with you. I'm just screwing everything up. I'm sorry. Maybe you should just forget I said anything. You can go back to the party if you like. I guess I'll just have to deal with this on my own." Something very stubborn inside of Kyndrick pushed her to think she should just get away from everyone and deal with this alone.
She ran a hand through her hair and let go of Remus's. She didn't want to but she felt vulnerable. She felt very closed off and didn't want to drag anyone down with her. She was seventeen. She could always just quit school and run off somewhere to figure everything out on her own. Kyndrick felt like crying and throwing up. She stubbornly pushed all emotion down and focused on easing the burn in her stomach as the alcohol hit wrong. She sat down on a log and put her face in her hands. "I don't even know how you tell. How do I know?" She felt a small choke gather in her throat as she forced herself not to cry. She felt that sudden urge to run as far away from everything in her life as she could. She had only two options. She could run away or she could get drunk and do meaningless things with boys who she didn't love. Since the alcohol was burning, she figured running was her best option.

Aerie took the handkerchief and pressed it lightly to her mouth. "I'll be fine, Noez." She said in more of a whisper. Truth was she wasn't sure. Her vision was giving out and she was getting very dizzy. She wasn't sure what Damon would do but if he hurt Noah she would make a point of avoiding Damon in favor of her friends for at least a week. She couldn't leave him though. She was deathly afraid of the consequences.
She looked up at Noah sadly and sighed. "You should leave Noah. I'll be fine." she said trying her best to offer a convincing smile. She really didn't want him to go but tshe didn't want him getting hurt either. She coughed splattering more blood on the handkerchief and closed her eyes tightly. She could feel the bruises forming on her stomach and cheek already.

From the moment the "P" word had escaped her lips, Remus seemed to have drifted away silently. Mind-wise at least. Body-wise, he was frozen solid as if he had just been carved into stone. Dozens of thoughts invaded his mind. Dozens of unwanted thoughts.
Pregnant. As in...with child? With his child? No. No. No. How could he have let this happen? How had he let himself be so stupid. So completely blindsided to not have realized the consequences of that one. drunken. night. He was--he was--he couldn't even find a bad enough word to call himself. None seemed remotely fitting to his level of idiocity. The words she was still speaking barely processed in his mind from the utter shock of the situation. This was what she was so worried about? Well. It definitely made more sense then her rep. And she said she didn't regret what hapened? His first sign of life was to widen his eyes at her incredulously.
But, he reminded himself, she didn't know what he was. She didn't know what happened to him every month. What he'd be doing in a few short days to be exact. About the Shrieking Shack and all of his horrifying memories there. His kind weren't meant to breed were they? To get teenage girls pregnant was probably something altogether unheard of with the werewolf community. Which brought us to our next major issue. He was sixteen, and just because she was a little older at seventeen it didn't change the fact that they were barely of age, him not even there yet. This wasn't supposed to be happening. No. This couldn't be happening.
Then, considering his previously motionless state, he began moving quickly, putting as much space between them as he stepped backwards, the moment they released hands. No, he wasn't disguisted by her. It was himself he was disguisted by. A small part of him, quite possibly the only part of him that was still there besides his body, was pointing out the fact that Kyndrick was also freaking out. That maybe he ought to comfort her. But in his presently almost insane state of mind, he could barely hold himself together, let alone attempt to help her out. Besides, she didn't know half of the problem. And it hardly seemed appropriate to tell her now. Maybe...hopefully, her suspicions were wrong?
'Kyndrick. You can't be--' He began, but then found that he couldn't even say the word aloud as his voice drifted off. His voice seemed odd even to himself. Strangely dry, and detatched. 'This is all my fault. I should have known better. I'm a' He said quietly, his voice coming to just barely a whisper. It was quite possible that she didn't even hear him. 'Monster'

"This isn't your fault!" Kyndrick looked up, suddenly a little more concerned. She still had that urge to run. The mere fact that Remus was putting as much distance as he could between them made her know she'd messed up big time. "It's my fault. I'm a whore! I should have seen this coming miles off! Listen, you don't have to beat yourself up over it. I'll just, ya know, wait a little while and finish up as much school as I can and then I'll leave. Me and whatever this is will be out of everyone's life as soon as we can be." She murmured not knowing that the "thing" inside her had the possibility of being more than just a baby. How was she to know anything occurring within Remus's head? She knew only that this was her own damn fault and she had to grow up right then and there.
"Oh god, what will my father say? He's already so ashamed of me. Although he wouldn't notice anything since he's never home anyway." Kyndrick thought aloud as her mind began to turn with the other affects of her mistake. She dared look up Remus as he stood, frozen and much too far away from her. She was trying to be calm but knew this was all too much. "I don't know what to do." She mumbled to herself and stood up, wondering if she should leave. She closed her eyes for a moment, trying to think clearly. She then made up her mind in a rush. She stepped forward and looked up at the frozen Remus Lupin. She kissed him fully on the lips. "You will never a be a monster." She offered and waited for his reaction. Although, at this point, she half expected him to slap her.

&& gasp for air cause it feels like we're out of it...
The blurred sight of Noah helping Aericka made Damon want to vomit. He reached forward and punched Noah in the stomach hard. Before he could even look for Noah's reaction, to see if he'd fight back, Damon stalked toward the trees. "You're a whore Aericka Thorne! First Malfoy, now Hart! What are you playing at?" He shouted loud enough for everyone at the party to hear. What would Hogwarts be saying about this now? Damon didn't care. There was a spinning in his head and a flask that never emptied in his pocket.
-------
The trees swallowed him up as he moved into the blur. The world spun like some maddening circus room of mirrors. He held his arms out at both sides, stumbling along in the darkness. His eyes were wide and damp. He wasn't crying, they were just damp. He spun in circles, tripping over his own feet.
"Aericka? Aericka who?" He mumbled to a tree with an accusing pointed finger at it. "That slut loves me. She wouldn't leave me cause she knows I'll hurt her." He nodded as if he knew all the world offered.
"This is my forest. Didn't you see the sign? Damon's forest! That's what I said, no joke." He laughed a staggering sort of laugh. His body was so consumed between alcohol and drugs that Damon wasn't even sure what his life was anymore. "I wish there were cliffs in the forest. Save me some damn time with this place. I mean really. I'm too good for these people. They're so lucky I'm here." He staggered forward til he spotted a log.
"Well, well, well, aren't you lovely? Mind if I take a seat then? I think I'll be here a while. Hopefully a Centaur won't trample me. Meh, I guess it doesn't matter if one does." He mumbled and then found his face in a pile of leaves beside the log. He passed out and was lost to a new sort of darkness. His body felt numb. He was floating through dark. There was gray, but not enough for him to see through. That was where he'd spend the rest of his night.

{{Leah is much too lazy to log in}}
"I don't care what you say Aerie, that..." he said, refering to her lips that were still dripping blood, and the way she cringed when ever Damon showed any signs of movement. "Is not going to be alright. I don't care what happens, I'm just not going to be shaken off that easily." "You know me, i'm terribly stubborn." he smiled at her. He knew it couldn't ease the physical pain, but maybe it could start to help the one that never seemed to leave a person once it got there.
It was unclear whether Noah saw what was coming next or not, but if he did, nobody could tell. Because if he did, would he of just let it happen like this? Well maybe. Noah Hart was a passifist, he simply hated fighting. Almost everyone knew this, because he refused to take part in the seemingly frequent Slytherin versus Gryffindor battles that took place in the corridors more often than before.
He wasn't bulked up like a few of the peple around him. He was skinny, and didn't play quidditch or anything other sport for that matter. Damon's punch knocked the wind completely out of him, and he fell to the ground at Aericka's feet, gasping for breath. Well, it was safe to assume he couldn't stand for awhile. " Don't you dare listen to him for a minute, Aerie." he said, even though he should of really been keeping all the air he could get. Noah's was dizzy, and his head hurt. how are you going to keep her safe if you're such a wimp?

It was like he blinked and she was gone.
He had been aware of her protests to keep quiet, keep out of it, and her kissing his cheek and advising him to get a another drink,no shit sherlock, and then she was gone. He watched her go over to Remus and a sense of awkwardness overcame him. Had he seen?
But he knew the answer. Of course he had seen. Those brown eyes missed nothing. And he knew that look that on Remus's face. He had seen.
Kavic sighed and tipped his head back on the couch. This night had gotten awkward... maybe Kyndrick was right. He did need another bottle. Something to suppress the anxiety. The stupid anxiety he felt he should acknowledge. This had nothing to do with him, it wasn't his girl, wasn't his kid... wasn't even his friend's kid. It was a girl who had confessed a secret, a life altering secret because she had to much to drink.
...damn Gryffindors and the whole chivalrous thing.
And he definitely needed another drink.
He managed to stand, the clearing only spun a little when he did, and grabbed another bottle. He tipped it with a smile at a pretty girl near the table, but returned to his seat without trying to get anyone to join him. He fell back onto the love seat, swinging his legs over the arm again, and drank deeply from his bottle. It was probably a bad idea to be drinking to discourage himself from remorse, but to hell with it. The night needed something to get him from thinking about deeper things, and if he found it by looking at the bottom of a bottle so be it.

Aerie closed her eyes and swallowed hard as Damon yelled about her being a "whore". She knew it wasn't true but then why did it hurt so much for it to be said? As he punched Noah she slightly whimpered but dared not move. She watched Damon stumble away and let the drugs and alcohol swell over her finally. Her legs gave out and she dropped to her knees beside Noah. She coughed again and closed her eyes letting a few tears fall. "I'm so sorry Noah..." she whispered.
She looked up at him and sighed. She crawled over and started to check his head to make sure he hadn't hit it when he fell. Aericka sat beside him and shook her head. "I should probably go find him..." she said quietly. She knew it was no good for him to be wandering about on his own in his state. Plus, it would only make Damon angrier to come back to the party and find Aerie smiling and joking with Noah as she'd like to.

Wasn't his fault? Was she kidding? No. This was all his fault. His problem. He hadn't stopped and thought of the consequences. How could she even consider that possibility? Now he had to deal with a whole new wave of problems. Where to begin? He shook his head at her, but it wasn't until she called herself a whore did he look up. 'You're not a whore. Don't go blame yourself.' He said pulling his eyebrows together in frustration. His jaw locked together as everything she was saying clicked in. She wanted to leave school? With this thing? This creature that may or may not be brewing inside of her that very minute? She couldn't just leave.
Remus opened his mouth to retort, but then she was thinking aloud again. He didn't know exactly whether it was his place to say something in that moment so he held his mouth shut. What could he say at a time like this when she was worried about her dad's reaction? Remus didn't know her father personally. Besides, he was too busy attempting to attend to his own worries. Like, whatever that thing inside of her might be. He had remained frozen in his spot, just staring at her in his bewilderment, but his eyes followed her as she walked towards him. He wanted to walk away. She didn't know yet about their biggest issue. What Remus really was.
At the touch of their lips, Remus was at first a little surprised, but then as they broke apart, reality returned and he remembered their little situation when she spoke. He took a couple staggered steps back as a sudden wave of frustration invaded him. 'No! I am!' He said, throwing his hands in the air. 'You don't understand. This--that thing, it'll be one too. You can't be pre--you just can't.' Once again, he was unable to say the word. It was almost as if pregnant had become some forbidden swear word over night.

"Will you stop insisting you're a monster, please! That's not very comforting! And I am a whore, the entire school knows it. I may be a whore, but I'm not an idiot and I'm not in denial about anything." Kyndrick felt her cheeks burn with a blush. She rarely lashed out at people that way. She was usually such a carefree charmer. She ran a hand through her hair again, it was becoming a stressed habit.
"I'm going, right now. I need to find out. I'm headed for the hospital wing. If you want to come, come along. If not, I won't request you to be part of either my life or whatever is inside of me's life." Kyndrick mumbled. She felt like crying. Why was she such an emotional creature! She looked Remus in the eyes and for once, she sincerely hoped her cared. She prayed he wanted to know with her. She wanted him to want to be there for her. She wanted him to want to be with her baby or not. It was a horrible sense of attachment overwhelming her, but it was new and she needed it. She turned to look in the direction of the castle and took a step before glancing back at Remus to see if he'd go with her.

so why exactly was she here? right, to be included in this thing. it's not like there was any thing significantly better to do. amoretta ran a delicate hand through her brown her, letting the bangs fall over her eyes and glanced down at her outfit; navy blue converse with black leggings that had sparkles on them, a skirt, and a rolling stones t-shirt. she looked at a table with many differnt alchoholic beverages and a few unknown pills, and steered clear, almost barfing. amoretta was afraid to drink or take drugs, because that is how her older brother died and she missed him dearly, even if the drugs manipulated him and made him hate her. she just never wanted to be like that to anyone--especially if she loved them!
amoretta had been feeling sick for awhile now, she felt faint from exhaustion and was already stumbling around like she was drunk. she made her way towards someone she knew, recognizing the face as lucius's. "hey lucius." amoretta said in her grafeful way. anyone could tell something was wrong with her because her usual graceful movements were frantic. amy stumbled to a chair near him and with relief sank into it. she didn't know him very well but it was better to have someone to talk to-plus amy was a people person.

The snow was falling in steady clumps and even though it was night, the sky had turned steel gray. In some parts of the lawn, the drifts reached over two feet deep. There were several deep ruts in the snow, the deepest being to the lake and then to the greenhouses, but Koran wasn’t walking those tracks. She was walking along the forest’s edge, following the now thin snow pack into the forest, toward the party. She could hear the noise from the party only a few yards in, but it took several minutes of walking through the barely lit woods before she came across the clearing, the chairs, and the warm fire. She hesitated then causing a few students to push past her, but she ignored the rudeness.
She couldn’t say why she was there, not really. The common room was nearly empty, but normally she’d relish that. She wasn’t a drinker, or a partier. Maybe she just wanted to be with other people, so she didn’t sink into worry over her London family. That was probably the closest to the truth and probably why she pushed it out of her mind just as quickly. She was at a party. Parties are fun, right?
Hesitantly, she walked in the clearing, glancing around… she didn’t see anyone she knew right of the bat. No matter. Nervously, she tugged the hem of her skirt. She hadn’t dressed up like some of these other girls had… the black and red plaid skirt, warm black tights to keep off the chill, and a white shirt with a black sweater pulled over it and a thin gold and red scarf around her neck with black flats on her feet. Her gold cross, as usual, hung at her neck and gold studs in her ears, but otherwise she didn’t wear any jewelry or make up. Very plain jane.
She looked around again, pushing her loose brown hair away from her face and spotted her brother, sitting alone on a loveseat. She crossed over to him, and moved his legs off the arm so she could sit by him. He acknowledged her with a grunt and scooted over to make room for her, she sat down heavily beside him. Neither sibling said anything for sometime, Koran watched her brother drink and his expression. He looked troubled. He was definitely quiet, which was strange… he normally got more talkative as he drank, not quieter. She bumped his shoulder.
“Hm?” He didn’t look at her, but just tipped the drink back.
“What’s going on?” Koran skipped the preamble. She was worried.
He sighed deeply, not speaking for awhile… when he finally did talk, it wasn’t comforting. “Not my place to say Koran.” he told her, ruffling her hair affectionately. “Why are you here? I thought you didn’t like parties.”
“I don’t. I just couldn’t sit upstairs and study anymore.” She shrugged.
He smiled, but there wasn’t much humor to it. “You should go try and enjoy yourself.” He advised her. “You could probably find some butterbeer, not all of it is hard stuff.”
Koran started to get up, but stopped, looking back at Kavic who merely waved her off. “Go, go. I won’t sit here all night I promise.”
“Okay…”Koran leaned against his arm for a moment, laying her head on his shoulder before standing up with a small wave. She walked a few steps before turning back. “Go have fun.” she urged, “It’s too weird to see you serious.” Kavic laughed at that and tipped the bottle at her.
Koran, for her part, was going to try and follow her own advise and have fun. Maybe she was wrong, maybe parties weren’t all bad. Maybe she could unwind a little and relax and have some fun here. Anything was possible and the night was young.

Why was she here? Lily knew it was silly and she'd promised herself she wouldn't attend such an event. When she'd heard even the quiet ones like Remus and Koran had slipped out for the night, she knew it couldn't kill her to go have some fun. So, Lily put on a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved green shirt. She wore a pair of navy blue converse and had grabbed her gray hoodie sweatshirt before running out the common room. She kept her wand in her hand and acted as if she were merely off to do prefect duties. Ha, that's what Remus and Koran were doing, right? She had to laugh at the idea that even the good students were out for the night. Kyndrick sure did know how to throw a party.
She made it to the snowy clearing to spot the massive bon-fire and wild excitement. "Wow." She murmured to herself as she watched the chaos unfold before her. There was no site of Remus, James, or Sirius just then. She did spot Kavic and Koran though and went to meet up with them, knowing that at least Koran wouldn't be drunk.
"Some party." She offered with a careful smile. She'd joined the Elliot siblings and saw that Kav was a little tipsy and troubled. It was probably some drama that she didn't want to be part of. "Anything thrilling happen yet? Is the forest secretly afire without my knowledge?" She joked feeling a little tired. She was rusty, parties weren't her thing at all.
